I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.

I waited patiently until sunrise. But like a lion you broke all my bones. In a short period of time you have brought my life to an end.

求你使我得聽歡喜快樂的聲音，使你所壓傷的骨頭可以踴躍。

王下令，把那些控告但以理的人和他們的妻子兒女都帶來，扔在獅子坑中。他們還沒有到坑底，獅子就制伏他們，咬碎他們的骨頭。

求你從我身上免去你的責罰；因你手的責打，我就消滅。

我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我要撕裂，並且離去，我必奪去，無人搭救。

我本是安逸，他折斷我，掐住我的頸項，把我摔碎，又立我作他的箭靶。他的弓箭手圍繞我。他刺破我的腎臟，並不留情，把我的膽汁傾倒在地上。他使我破裂，破裂又破裂，如同勇士向我直闖。

神人就去了，在路上有隻獅子遇見他，把他咬死。他的屍體倒在路上，驢站在屍體旁邊，獅子也站在屍體旁邊。看哪，有人經過，看見屍體倒在路上，獅子站在屍體旁邊，就來到老先知所住的城裏述說這事。那帶神人回來的先知聽見了，就說：「這是那違背了耶和華指示的神人，所以耶和華把他交給獅子；獅子撕裂他，咬死他，正如耶和華對他說的話。」

「你們忘記上帝的，要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，無人搭救。

因此，在你們中間有好些軟弱的與患病的，長眠了的也不少。我們若是先省察自己，就不至於受審判。我們受審判的時候，就是被主管教，這樣就免得和世人一同被定罪。
