Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!

“你辱骂谁，亵渎谁？扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？乃是攻击以色列的圣者。

“‘你辱骂谁，亵渎谁，扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？你攻击的是以色列的圣者。

“‘你辱骂谁，亵渎谁，扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢？你攻击的是以色列的圣者。

“‘你在侮辱、亵渎谁呢？你不放在眼里、高声骂的是谁呢？是以色列的圣者！

你辱骂谁、亵渎谁？你扬起声音，又高举眼目，要攻击谁？就是攻击以色列的圣者。

你辱骂谁、亵渎谁呢？你扬起声音、高举眼目针对的是谁呢？是针对以色列的圣者！

你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰？揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？乃是攻擊以色列的聖者。

「『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰，揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？你攻擊的是以色列的聖者。

「『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰，揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？你攻擊的是以色列的聖者。

「『你在侮辱、褻瀆誰呢？你不放在眼裡、高聲罵的是誰呢？是以色列的聖者！

你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰？你揚起聲音，又高舉眼目，要攻擊誰？就是攻擊以色列的聖者。

『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰？你揚起聲來、攻擊誰呢？你高舉眼目、侮慢誰呢？乃是侮慢以色列之聖者呀。

你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰呢？你揚起聲音、高舉眼目針對的是誰呢？是針對以色列的聖者！

爾所侮所謗者為誰、向誰揚爾聲、高爾目、乃以色列之聖者也、

爾所侮所欺者為誰、爾白眼而視、疾聲而呼、欲攻誰乎、豈非以色列族之聖者乎。

爾毀謗誰、褻瀆誰、揚爾聲、高爾目、欲攻誰耶、乃攻以色列之聖者、

Who is it you have ridiculed and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Who have you laughed at? Who have you spoken evil things against? Who have you raised your voice against? Who have you looked at so proudly? You have done it against me. I am the Holy One of Israel!

“‘ Whom have you mocked and reviled? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes to the heights? Against the Holy One of Israel!

“ Whom have you been defying and ridiculing? Against whom did you raise your voice? At whom did you look with such haughty eyes? It was the Holy One of Israel!

Who is it you have mocked and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Whom have you taunted and blasphemed? And against whom have you raised your voice And haughtily raised your eyes? Against the Holy One of Israel!

“ Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice, And lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Who is it you have mocked and blasphemed? Who have you raised your voice against and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted[ thy] voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high?[ even] against the Holy One of Israel.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

“‘ I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

And when his mind became arrogant and his spirit filled with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and his honor was removed from him.He was driven from human society, his mind was changed to that of an animal, he lived with the wild donkeys, he was fed grass like oxen, and his body became damp with the dew of the sky, until he came to understand that the most high God rules over human kingdoms, and he appoints over them whomever he wishes.“ But you, his son Belshazzar, have not humbled yourself, although you knew all this.Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven. You brought before you the vessels from his temple, and you and your nobles, together with your wives and concubines, drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone– gods that cannot see or hear or comprehend! But you have not glorified the God who has in his control your very breath and all your ways!

You will winnow them and the wind will blow them away; the wind will scatter them. You will rejoice in the LORD; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

He will speak words against the Most High. He will harass the holy ones of the Most High continually. His intention will be to change times established by law. They will be delivered into his hand For a time, times, and half a time.

Will you still say,“ I am a god,” before the one who kills you– though you are a man and not a god– when you are in the power of those who wound you?

He opposes and exalts himself above every so- called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God.

At that time men will trust in their creator; they will depend on the Holy One of Israel.

For he says:“ By my strong hand I have accomplished this, by my strategy that I devised. I invaded the territory of nations, and looted their storehouses. Like a mighty conqueror, I brought down rulers.My hand discovered the wealth of the nations, as if it were in a nest, as one gathers up abandoned eggs, I gathered up the whole earth. There was no wing flapping, or open mouth chirping.”Does an ax exalt itself over the one who wields it, or a saw magnify itself over the one who cuts with it? As if a scepter should brandish the one who raises it, or a staff should lift up what is not made of wood!

At that time those left in Israel, those who remain of the family of Jacob, will no longer rely on a foreign leader that abuses them. Instead they will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

You are still exalting yourself against my people by not releasing them.

Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you?– majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, working wonders?

Do not disregard what your enemies say, or the unceasing shouts of those who defy you.

Whom have you taunted and hurled insults at? At whom have you shouted, and looked so arrogantly? At the Holy One of Israel!

But Pharaoh said,“ Who is the LORD that I should obey him by releasing Israel? I do not know the LORD, and I will not release Israel!”

You said to yourself,“ I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon.I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!”

This is what the LORD says, your protector, the Holy One of Israel:“ For your sake I send to Babylon and make them all fugitives, turning the Babylonians’ joyful shouts into mourning songs.

LORD, you have been active from ancient times; my sovereign God, you are immortal. LORD, you have made them your instrument of judgment. Protector, you have appointed them as your instrument of punishment.You are too just to tolerate evil; you are unable to condone wrongdoing. So why do you put up with such treacherous people? Why do you say nothing when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?

Perhaps the LORD your God will hear all these things the chief adviser has spoken on behalf of his master, the king of Assyria, who sent him to taunt the living God. When the LORD your God hears, perhaps he will punish him for the things he has said. So pray for this remnant that remains.’”

“ Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ Your heart is proud and you said,“ I am a god; I sit in the seat of gods, in the heart of the seas”– yet you are a man and not a god, though you think you are godlike.

Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns were ten diadem crowns, and on its heads a blasphemous name.Now the beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority to rule.One of the beast’s heads appeared to have been killed, but the lethal wound had been healed. And the whole world followed the beast in amazement;they worshiped the dragon because he had given ruling authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast too, saying:“ Who is like the beast?” and“ Who is able to make war against him?”The beast was given a mouth speaking proud words and blasphemies, and he was permitted to exercise ruling authority for forty- two months.So the beast opened his mouth to blaspheme against God– to blaspheme both his name and his dwelling place, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

There is a generation whose eyes are so lofty, and whose eyelids are lifted up disdainfully.

“ Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘ Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”Certainly you have heard how the kings of Assyria have annihilated all lands. Do you really think you will be rescued?Were the nations whom my predecessors destroyed– the nations of Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the people of Eden in Telassar– rescued by their gods?Where are the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, and the kings of Lair, Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?’”

For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer. I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price, Ethiopia and Seba in place of you.

Turn aside from the way, stray off the path. Remove from our presence the Holy One of Israel.”For this reason this is what the Holy One of Israel says:“ You have rejected this message; you trust instead in your ability to oppress and trick, and rely on that kind of behavior.

They speak as if they rule in heaven, and lay claim to the earth.

before the vindictive enemy who ridicules and insults me.

Don’t be afraid, despised insignificant Jacob, men of Israel. I am helping you,” says the LORD, your protector, the Holy One of Israel.

Proud men will be brought low, arrogant men will be humiliated; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

He wrote letters mocking the LORD God of Israel and insulting him with these words:“ The gods of the surrounding nations could not rescue their people from my power. Neither can Hezekiah’s god rescue his people from my power.”

Remember how the enemy hurls insults, O LORD, and how a foolish nation blasphemes your name!

Perhaps the LORD your God will hear all these things the chief adviser has spoken on behalf of his master, the king of Assyria, who sent him to taunt the living God. When the LORD your God hears, perhaps he will punish him for the things he has said. So pray for this remnant that remains.’”
