有人恃車、有人恃馬、我則稱道耶和華之名兮、彼俯伏而仆、我則興起而立兮、

曰、彼出、或欲修和、或欲戰鬥、當生執之、

告其同宗、及撒瑪利亞軍旅曰、此荏弱之猶大人何為、豈欲自衛乎、豈欲獻祭乎、豈能一日成之乎、豈於瓦礫之場、復起被焚之石乎、亞捫人多比雅旁立、曰、彼所築之石牆即狐登之亦圮、我上帝歟、我儕為人蔑視、願爾垂聽、俾其所謗、歸於己首、為俘虜於異邦、勿蓋其過、勿抹其罪、彼在建築者前、激爾之怒、

取耶和華室與王宮府庫、所有之金銀、及器皿、並取人為質、而返撒瑪利亞、
