When the men came to Him, they said,“ John the Baptist has sent us to You, to ask,‘ Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for another?’ ”At that very time He cured many people of diseases and afflictions and evil spirits; and He gave sight to many who were blind.And He answered and said to them,“ Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: people who were blind receive sight, people who limped walk, people with leprosy are cleansed and people who were deaf hear, dead people are raised up, and people who are poor have the gospel preached to them.And blessed is anyone who does not take offense at Me.”

Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen.The mind of the rash will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak clearly.

On that day those who are deaf will hear words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of those who are blind will see.

and said to Him,“ Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for someone else?”Jesus answered and said to them,“ Go and report to John what you hear and see:those who are blind receive sight and those who limp walk, those with leprosy are cleansed and those who are deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

The Lord God has given Me the tongue of disciples, So that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.

As Jesus passed by, He saw a man who had been blind from birth.And His disciples asked Him,“ Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?”Jesus answered,“ It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.”When He had said this, He spit on the ground, and made mud from the saliva, and applied the mud to his eyes,and said to him,“ Go, wash in the pool of Siloam”( which is translated, Sent). So he left and washed, and came back seeing.

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

As Jesus went on from there, two men who were blind followed Him, crying out,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”And after He entered the house, the men who were blind came up to Him, and Jesus* said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord.”Then He touched their eyes, saying,“ It shall be done for you according to your faith.”And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying,“ See that no one knows about this!”

When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again!”And after crying out and throwing him into terrible convulsions, it came out; and the boy became so much like a corpse that most of them said,“ He is dead!”

I will lead those who are blind by a way they have not known, In paths they have not known I will guide them. I will turn darkness into light before them And uneven land into plains. These are the things I will do, And I will not leave them undone.”

For this reason it says,“ Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

And those who were blind and those who limped came to Him in the temple area, and He healed them.

And two people who were blind, sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out,“ Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”But the crowd sternly warned them to be quiet; yet they cried out all the more,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”And Jesus stopped and called them, and said,“ What do you want Me to do for you?”They* said to Him,“ Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.”Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him.

The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.

So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”And immediately something like fish scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized;

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

Then a demon possessed man who was blind and unable to speak was brought to Jesus, and He healed him so that the man who was unable to speak talked and could see.

And they* came to Bethsaida. And some people* brought a man who was blind to Jesus and* begged Him to touch him.Taking the man who was blind by the hand, He brought him out of the village; and after spitting in his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him,“ Do you see anything?”And he looked up and said,“ I see people, for I see them like trees, walking around.”Then again He laid His hands on his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and began to see everything clearly.

And they* brought to Him one who was deaf and had difficulty speaking, and they* begged Him to lay His hand on him.And Jesus took him aside from the crowd, by himself, and put His fingers in his ears, and after spitting, He touched his tongue with the saliva;and looking up to heaven with a deep sigh, He* said to him,“ Ephphatha!” that is,“ Be opened!”And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was removed, and he began speaking plainly.And He gave them orders not to tell anyone; but the more He ordered them, the more widely they continued to proclaim it.And they were utterly astonished, saying,“ He has done all things well; He makes even those who are deaf hear, and those who are unable to talk, speak.”

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The Lord has made both of them.

But the Lord said to him,“ Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

You have not heard, you have not known. Even from long ago your ear has not been open, Because I knew that you would deal very treacherously; And you have been called a rebel from birth.

But some of them said,“ Could this man, who opened the eyes of the man who was blind, not have also kept this man from dying?”

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And those who are deaf, even though they have ears.

To whom shall I speak and give warning, That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed And they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the Lord has become for them a rebuke; They take no delight in it.

Then He opens the ears of people, And horrifies them with warnings,
