The Lord is honored. He lives in heaven. He will make sure Zion’s people only do what is fair and right.

Though the Lord is very great and lives in heaven, he will make Jerusalem his home of justice and righteousness.

Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.Why do the nations say,“ Where is their God?”

I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.

See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice.

For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?

Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.

The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.You will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow.Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might.

This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God.In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.

Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.

In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel.Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem.The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.

Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are the only God.”

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field.The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.He says,“ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord:“ I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea.

Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, Lord.For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
