其人必居崇高、磐石之固、為其保障、其糧不絕、其水不乏、○

彼居高巖險隘、以得範衛、餱糧不缺其供、水泉無虞其乏、

若是之人、必得居高處、磐巖為其保障、食則其糧必得供給、飲則其水必不枯涸、

they are the ones who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. Their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them.

People like that will be kept safe. It will be as if they were living on high mountains. It will be as if they were living in a mountain fort. They will have all the food they need. And they will never run out of water.”

維彼稚獅、匱食而飢、尋求耶和華者、福祉罔缺兮、

惟聽我者、必宴然居處、得享寧靜、不畏遭禍、

在強者肆行殘暴、如狂風衝突牆垣之時、爾為貧窮者之堅城、困乏者難中之保障、狂風中為避所、炎熱時為蔭庇、

賜糧於畏之者、永念其約兮、

令我足捷如鹿、置我於高處兮、

耶和華歟、孰得寓爾帷幕、居爾聖山、

耶和華之名乃堅臺、義者趨之得安穩、

當賴耶和華而行善、居於斯土、以其信實為食兮、

上帝曰、因其愛予、我必救援之、彼知我名、我必高舉之兮、

居於至高者之密所、必恆在全能者之蔭下兮、我論耶和華云、彼為我避所、我保障、我所恃之上帝兮、彼必拯爾、脫於捕鳥之網、疫癘之毒兮、必覆爾以其羽、爾託庇其翼下、彼之誠實、乃盾乃干兮、夜之驚駭、晝之飛矢、暗中流行之疫癘、午間勦滅之災患、爾皆不懼兮、仆於爾側者千、仆於爾右者萬、災不及爾兮、惟得目睹、而觀惡人受報兮、爾以耶和華為避所、以至高者為居所、災禍不臨爾身、疫癘不近爾幕兮、

敬畏耶和華、企望其慈惠者、彼垂顧之兮、

主歟、爾為我居所、歷世不易兮、

惟脫貧人於患難、置之高處、俾有家屬成羣兮、

不飢不渴、日不之暴、暑不之侵、矜憫之者必引之、導經水源、

是日也、在猶大地、人將歌曰、我有堅城、主以拯救為城為郭、其闢諸門、俾守信之義民入焉、心志堅者、因爾是賴、爾保佑之、備極平康、宜恆賴耶和華、蓋主耶和華為永久之磐、曾降居高之人、毀崇高之邑、覆之於地、墮之於塵、

主耶和華為我之力、使我足疾若麀、俾我履於崇高之處、斯歌使伶長鼓琴歌之、
