Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers.

He too is wise. He can bring horrible trouble. He does what he says he’ll do. He’ll rise up against that evil nation. He’ll fight against those who help them.

And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

In his wisdom, the Lord will send great disaster; he will not change his mind. He will rise against the wicked and against their helpers.

But he also is wise and brings disaster. He does not go back on what he says; he will rise up against the house of the wicked and against the allies of evildoers.

Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And does not retract His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of the workers of injustice.

上帝與人異、不失其信、不回其志、詎有言出而不行、既許而不應。

或禍或福、或光或暗、俱我耶和華使之然。

世人恃其智、不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道、救諸信者、斯上帝之智也、猶太人索異跡、希利尼人求智慧、余傳基督釘十字架之道、猶太人以為可厭、希利尼人以為不智、惟奉召者、則無論猶太、希利尼、皆以基督為上帝大用、上帝智慧、蓋上帝即不智、亦智於人、上帝即不能、亦能於人、兄弟乎、爾之奉召可見矣、貌為智為能為貴者、不多蒙召、乃上帝選世之不智、以愧智者、選世之不能、以愧能者、且選世之不貴者、見棄者、人視為無有者、以廢世之有者、故上帝前、無人得自誇、

天地可廢、吾言不可廢、○

邑中吹角、民豈得不懼、邑中有禍、豈非我耶和華使之然乎、

耶和華云、我有定命、和集列邦、憤怒奮發、氣燄殊張、殲滅天下、我既勃興、降此刑譴、爾當祈求、

耶和華以其大能創造大地、以其智慧展布穹蒼、奠定寰宇。

獨一救主智慧上帝、願榮華赫赫、權力歸之、因我主耶穌基督、至今以後、垂至世世焉、

共賴耶穌基督名、歸榮獨一有智之上帝、爰及世世、固所願也、

使埃及人知我乃耶和華、昔以色列家賴爾埃及、若恃葦杖、彼執爾手、爾強脫之、致彼肩骨差失、彼親爾、爾突然去之、致彼腰骨閃損。

昔我使我僕先知傅命、言必降災、斯災已及爾祖、彼遂悛悔、自謂萬有之主耶和華所立之旨、欲降以災、罰我所為、今及我躬矣、

萬有之主耶和華、諭示於我曰、斯咎雖死不贖、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

頑嚚者流、出於口則悖逆、藏於心則不軌、所行奸偽、所言誕妄、上逆耶和華、下使民饑渴、

斯後亞述王、伐埃及、古實、虜其旄倪、使之裸裎跣足、露其下體、以凌辱之。昔瀕海之民、惟埃及是誇、古實是恃、後必蒙羞而懹恐、曰、我素望彼、得救於亞述王、今彼敗亡、我何能免於難哉。

昔書一卷、為猶大王約雅金所焚、耶利米復取一卷、畀繕寫尼利亞子巴錄、使書耶利米諸言、一如疇昔、更增言詞、其義畧同。

維此貧民、受屈欷歔、耶和華曰、余必勃然而興、手援之兮、不使藐視於人斯。耶和華兮、其道潔清、煆煉若金、爐火鎔之、七次而成、

主勃然興起、如寢者之警醒、如壯夫飲酒而呼呶兮、擊敵人之背、俾蒙羞不已兮。

爾上帝耶和華所許諸福、既臨於爾、爾反其道、則爾上帝耶和華亦必使諸禍降臨、迨爾滅亡、在爾上帝耶和華所賜之腴壤。

爾惟法老之勢力是恃、埃及之庇蔭是賴、則必含羞蒙恥、

耶和華勃興、赫然震怒、與在比哩心山基遍谷、無以異也、惟降災於選民、實所罕有、

耶和華又曰、我必罰爾、使爾知我言必有效驗、有兆堪徵。我耶和華以埃及王法老哈拉、付於敵手、如前日我以猶大王西底家、付於敵巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒手。

法匱移時、摩西曰、願耶和華起、使敵散處、使仇逋逃。

爾惟憶兆之大君、盡人當敬、孰不畏爾、列國諸聖者、不得與爾頡頏。

上帝兮、勃然興起、使爾仇敵離散、寇讎遁逃兮、上帝涖至、惡者滅亡、如風驅烟、如火消蠟兮、

故爾罪戾必若將傾之垣、欲覆之壁、忽然毀圮、爾將見毀、有如陶器、一經墮地、即無片存、不能取火於爐、汲水於井、

蓋救民之時伊邇、我意必伸其冤。我見輔翼無人、不勝錯愕、故展力發憤、手援選民。

毋自誇詡、毋出妄言、蓋耶和華睿智之上帝、人有所行、無不裁度。
