Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.

The Lord said to me,“ Go now. Write on a tablet for the people of Judah what I am about to say. Also write it on a scroll. In days to come it will be a witness that lasts forever.

And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.

Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness

The LORD answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Take a large piece of parchment and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

“ Take another scroll, and once again write on it the original words that were on the original scroll that King Jehoiakim of Judah burned.You are to proclaim concerning King Jehoiakim of Judah,‘ This is what the LORD says: You have burned the scroll, asking,“ Why have you written on it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and cause it to be without people or animals?”Therefore, this is what the LORD says concerning King Jehoiakim of Judah: He will have no one to sit on David’s throne, and his corpse will be thrown out to be exposed to the heat of day and the frost of night.I will punish him, his descendants, and his officers for their iniquity. I will bring on them, on the residents of Jerusalem, and on the people of Judah all the disaster, which I warned them about but they did not listen.’”Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch son of Neriah, the scribe, and he wrote on it at Jeremiah’s dictation all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim, Judah’s king, had burned in the fire. And many other words like them were added.

Above all, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days scoffing and following their own evil desires,

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, in the future you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it,

Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the LORD and to his goodness in the last days.

Now I am going back to my people, but first, let me warn you what these people will do to your people in the future.”

Therefore write down this song for yourselves and teach it to the Israelites; have them sing it, so that this song may be a witness for me against the Israelites.

Yet, I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the last days. This is the LORD’s declaration. The judgment on Moab ends here.

So Moses wrote down this song on that day and taught it to the Israelites.

“ Take a scroll, and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah, and all the nations from the time I first spoke to you during Josiah’s reign until today.

Jeremiah wrote on one scroll about all the disaster that would come to Babylon; all these words were written against Babylon.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,

They told you,“ In the end time there will be scoffers living according to their own ungodly desires.”

I wish that my words were written down, that they were recorded on a scrollor were inscribed in stone forever by an iron stylus and lead!But I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the end he will stand on the dust.

For I know that after my death you will become completely corrupt and turn from the path I have commanded you. Disaster will come to you in the future, because you will do what is evil in the LORD’s sight, angering him with what your hands have made.”

You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud covering the land. It will happen in the last days, Gog, that I will bring you against my land so that the nations may know me, when I demonstrate my holiness through you in their sight.

The LORD’s anger will not turn away until he has completely fulfilled the purposes of his heart. In time to come you will understand it clearly.
