耶和華說，『誰願意去引誘亞哈到基列的拉末去送死呢？』眾天軍議論紛紛。後來，有一個靈站出來對耶和華說他願意去。耶和華問他用什麼方法，他說，『我要做謊言之靈，進入他眾先知的口中。』耶和華說，『你必能成功，就這樣做吧。』

不要像無知的騾馬，不用嚼環轡頭就不馴服。」

萬軍之耶和華必帶著雷轟、地震、巨響、旋風、暴風和烈火來臨。

因為以色列人或是在以色列定居的外族人若背棄我，在心中樹立偶像，把導致犯罪的絆腳石放在自己面前，又來向先知求問我的旨意，我耶和華必親自用懲罰回答他。我必嚴懲他，使他成為眾人的鑒戒和笑柄。我必將他從我的子民中剷除。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。如果先知受迷惑說預言，那是我耶和華任他胡作非為，我必伸手懲治他，把他從我的以色列百姓中除滅。

耶和華啊，你斥責一聲，鼻孔一吹氣，海底就顯現，大地也露出根基。

上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，

鞭子打馬，韁繩勒驢，棍棒責打愚人的背。

押沙龍和以色列眾人都說：「亞基人戶篩的主意比亞希多弗的好！」其實是耶和華決定破壞亞希多弗的巧計，好把災禍降在押沙龍身上。

耶和華說：「我現在要施展大能，我必受尊崇。你們所謀的像糠秕，所行的如碎稭，毫無價值。你們的氣息會像火一樣燒滅你們自己。列邦必被燒成灰燼，好像割下的荊棘被火焚燒。」

上帝的話有生命、有功效，鋒利無比，勝過一切兩刃的利劍，甚至能夠剌入並分開魂與靈、關節與骨髓，辨明人一切的思想和動機。

埃及王啊，你的智者在哪裡呢？讓他們把萬軍之耶和華對付埃及的計劃告訴你吧！瑣安的首領愚昧，挪弗的首領糊塗。他們是埃及的房角石，卻把埃及人引入歧途。耶和華使錯謬的靈進入他們當中，使他們像又嘔又吐、東倒西歪的醉漢，做什麼都錯誤百出。

耶穌說：「西門！西門！撒旦已經要求像篩麥子一樣篩你們，

我必以公平為準繩，以公義作線錘。冰雹必砸碎你們虛謊的庇護所，洪水必淹沒你們的藏身處。你們和死亡所立的約必被廢棄，與陰間的結盟必不能長久。災難席捲而來的時候，你們必遭毀滅。

祂手拿簸箕，要把穀場清理乾淨，將麥子存入倉裡，用不滅的火把糠秕燒盡。」

埃及人必灰心喪志，我必破壞他們的計謀。他們必求問偶像、巫師、靈媒和術士。
