「『如今，看！我，惟有我是神；我以外並無別神。我使人死，我使人活；我擊傷人，也醫治人，沒有人能從我手中救出來。

因為他打傷，又包紮；他擊傷，又親手醫治。

那城內不用日月光照，因為有神的榮耀光照，又有羔羊為城的燈。

那時，月亮要蒙羞，太陽要慚愧，因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王，在他眾長老面前彰顯榮耀。

不再有黑夜；他們也不需要燈光或日光，因為主神要光照他們。他們要作王，直到永永遠遠。

耶和華所知的那一日，沒有白天，沒有黑夜，到了晚上仍有亮光。

那日，耶和華必保護耶路撒冷的居民。他們中間軟弱的在那日必如大衛；大衛家必如神，如行在他們前面的耶和華的使者。

「在那日，我必重建大衛倒塌的帳幕，修補其中的缺口；我必建立那遭破壞的，重新修造，如古時一般，

你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，繼續受責打呢？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏；從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處是完好的，盡是創傷、瘀青，與流血的傷口，未曾擠淨，未曾包紮，也沒有用膏滋潤。

在我聖山各處，牠們都不傷人，不害物；因為認識耶和華的知識要遍滿全地，好像水充滿海洋一般。

所以，我們應當離開基督道理的基礎，竭力進到成熟的地步；不必再立根基，就如懊悔致死的行為、信靠神、各樣洗禮、按手禮、死人復活，以及永遠的審判等的教導。

耶路撒冷啊，我可用甚麼向你證明呢？我可用甚麼與你相比呢？少女錫安哪，我拿甚麼和你比較，好安慰你呢？因你的裂傷大如海；誰能醫治你呢？

來，我們歸向耶和華吧！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；打傷我們，也必包紮。

他們與迦勒底人爭戰，用我在怒氣和憤怒中所殺之人的屍首塞滿這房屋；我因他們一切的惡，轉臉不顧這城。看哪，我要使這城得以痊癒安舒，我要醫治他們，將豐盛的平安與信實顯明給他們。
