因為是他使人疼痛、又是他替人綁紮；是他擊傷、又是他用手醫治。

那城不需要日頭或月亮照耀她；因為上帝的榮耀做她的光；羔羊就是她的燈。

你們為甚麼悖逆了又悖逆，要繼續受責打呢？嘿，滿頭創痍，滿心全發暈。從腳掌到頭頂、沒有一處完全；盡是創傷、鞭痕、和流血的傷口；沒有擠乾，沒有綁紮，沒有用膏油滋潤着。

在我的聖山地遍處、這一切都不傷人，不毁物；因為人之認識永恆主、必充滿了大地，如同水瀰漫着洋海一般。

所以我們應當離開基督開端之道，向前推進到完全長大的程度，不必再立下改悔死行為和信靠上帝等根基：如各樣洗禮、按手禮、死人復活跟永世處刑、等教訓。

耶路撒冷小姐啊，我可用甚麼與你並列？用甚麼跟你相比呢？錫安人民哪，我可拿甚麼跟你比較，好安慰你呢？你的裂口像海那麼大，誰能醫治你呢？

『來吧，我們回歸於永恆主吧，因為他撕裂，他也必醫治我們；他擊傷，他也必給我們綁紮。

迦勒底人必來攻城，使這些房屋充滿着人的屍身，就是我發怒氣和烈怒時所擊殺的人；因為我因他們一切的壞事掩面不顧這城。但是你看吧，我必使新肉在她身上生起，使康復發旺起來；我必醫治他們，將豐盛之興隆和穩固顯示於他們。
