那城内又不用日月光照；因有神的荣耀光照，又有羔羊为城的灯。

那时，月亮要蒙羞，日头要惭愧；因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山，在耶路撒冷作王；在敬畏他的长老面前，必有荣耀。

不再有黑夜；他们也不用灯光、日光，因为主神要光照他们。他们要作王，直到永永远远。

那日，必是耶和华所知道的，不是白昼，也不是黑夜，到了晚上才有光明。

那日，耶和华必保护耶路撒冷的居民。他们中间软弱的必如大卫；大卫的家必如神，如行在他们前面之耶和华的使者。

“到那日，我必建立大卫倒塌的帐幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破坏的建立起来，重新修造，像古时一样，

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们已经满头疼痛，全心发昏。从脚掌到头顶，没有一处完全的，尽是伤口、青肿，与新打的伤痕，都没有收口，没有缠裹，也没有用膏滋润。

在我圣山的遍处，这一切都不伤人，不害物；因为认识耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。

所以，我们应当离开基督道理的开端，竭力进到完全的地步，不必再立根基，就如那懊悔死行、信靠神、各样洗礼、按手之礼、死人复活，以及永远审判各等教训。

耶路撒冷的民哪，我可用什么向你证明呢？我可用什么与你相比呢？锡安的民哪，我可拿什么和你比较，好安慰你呢？因为你的裂口大如海，谁能医治你呢？

来吧，我们归向耶和华！他撕裂我们，也必医治；他打伤我们，也必缠裹。

人要与迦勒底人争战，正是拿死尸充满这房屋，就是我在怒气和忿怒中所杀的人，因他们的一切恶，我就掩面不顾这城。看哪，我要使这城得以痊愈安舒，使城中的人得医治，又将丰盛的平安和诚实显明与他们。
