耶路撒冷啊，我該說什麼呢？誰能與你的苦難相比呢？錫安啊，我用什麼話語才能安慰你呢？你的傷口深如海洋，誰能醫治你呢？

來吧，讓我們歸向耶和華！祂撕裂我們，也必醫治我們；祂擊打我們，也必為我們裹傷。

城中的人與迦勒底人爭戰只會使自己的房屋堆滿死屍，因為我要在憤怒中毀滅他們。他們作惡多端，我必掩面不理這城。但有一天，我必使這城復興，醫治她的創傷，使她繁榮昌盛。
