民必降格、聲勿揚、若為神所憑者、其音微細、若從地出、

爾必卑降、伏地而言、語音微細、出自塵土、爾聲如鬼聲自地而出、從塵中唧唧出言、

Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.

You will be brought down to the grave. You will speak from deep down inside the ground. Your words will be barely heard out of the dust. Your voice will sound like the voice of a ghost coming from under the ground. Your words will sound like a whisper out of the dust.”

And you will be brought low; from the earth you shall speak, and from the dust your speech will be bowed down; your voice shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost, and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

Then deep from the earth you will speak; from low in the dust your words will come. Your voice will whisper from the ground like a ghost conjured up from the grave.

有人让你们去求问那些念念有词的巫师和术士，你们不要去。你们要去求问你们的上帝，活人的事怎能求问死人呢？

耶路撒冷必崩溃，犹大必败落，因为他们的言行冒犯耶和华，蔑视荣耀的主。

到那日，狂妄的人将被挫败，骄傲的人将遭贬抑；唯独耶和华将受尊崇。因为万军之耶和华已定了日子，要惩罚一切骄傲狂妄和自高自大的人，使他们沦为卑贱；祂必毁灭黎巴嫩高大的香柏树和巴珊的橡树，毁灭一切崇山峻岭，毁灭高耸的城楼和坚固的城墙，毁灭他施的商船和一切华美的船只。到那日，狂妄的人必被挫败，骄傲的人必遭贬抑，唯独耶和华受尊崇。偶像必被彻底铲除。耶和华使大地震动的时候，众人躲进岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避祂的愤怒和威荣。到那日，众人必把造来敬拜的金银偶像丢给田鼠和蝙蝠。耶和华使大地震动的时候，众人必躲进山洞和岩缝，逃避祂的愤怒和威荣。

我必把这杯给苦待你的人，他们曾对你说，‘趴下，我们好从你身上走过。’你曾把你的背当作地面，当作街道任人践踏。”

她的裙子沾满污秽，她未曾想过自己的结局。她的败落无比凄惨，无人安慰。她哭喊道：“耶和华啊，仇敌已经获胜，求你垂顾我的苦难！”
