使瞽者明、聾者聰、

如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聰、死者甦、貧者聞福音、

眾不勝異曰、其所為者善、使聾者聰、啞者言矣。

請啟我目、俾詳審律例之奧兮。

求吾主耶穌基督之上帝、即榮耀之父、賜爾以智慧、默示之神、使爾識主、心目克明、知其召爾所望之福何如、聖徒之業、其富有何如、且知上帝有莫大之能、力行於信者中、

見者目必明、聽者耳必聰、

耳能聞、目能見、俱耶和華使然。

俾明厥目、轉暗為光、離撒但勢、歸於上帝、使眾信我、可得罪赦、同獲聖徒之業、

棄陰私愧恥之事、不行詭譎、不混上帝道、惟表彰真理、質己於眾、在上帝前、如言我福音不明、則惟自棄者不明之、即世之上帝、惑不信者心、使肖上帝之基督福音之榮、不光照焉、我傳道不言己、乃言耶穌基督為主、緣耶穌為爾僕、昔上帝命光照暗、今照吾心、使知上帝榮、在耶穌基督而顯、

蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、我傳默示、若已緘之函、使識文字者讀之、彼必曰、緘封之書、其何能讀、使不識文字者讀之、彼必曰我弗識也。

以色列人心頑、至於今日、其讀舊約、如帕蒙心、不知此帕、基督去之、越至於今、彼讀摩西書、有帕蒙心、其人歸主、帕可去矣、我所言神者主也、主之神所在、使人自由、吾面去帕、得觀主榮、如鑑照我、主之神化我、效主像、久而彌光、

昔其心迷悖逆、今則明理順道。

主之神臨我、膏我、俾傳福音於貧人、傷心者醫之、

我為爾謀、當求煆煉之金於我、則可致富、亦求白衣自衣、以免裸裎、庶無愧怍、求膏膏爾目、則得見、

經云、寢宜寤、死當起、基督賜爾光、

越至於今、爾心不能思、目不能見、耳不能聞、緣耶和華未嘗以是才能賜之於爾也。

先知書載云、眾將蒙上帝之教、凡聽父而學之者就我、

遂謂之曰、以爾所見所聞、往告約翰、如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聰、死者甦、貧者聞福音、

其人如是、應以賽亞預言云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、然爾目有福矣、以其得見也、爾耳有福矣、以其得聞也、

惟彼瞽者、我必相之、彼不識途、我必導之、使暗為光。使曲為直、我行如是、必不遐棄斯民。凡恃偶像、稱金鑄之形為上帝者、必蒙愧怍、必駭而奔。爾曹耳聾者宜聽、心盲者宜視、

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿、福矣、以有血氣者不示爾、乃吾天父示之也、

我必與以色列族、共立新約、我將以我律法、置其衷、銘其心、我為彼上帝、彼為我民。耶和華曰、彼毋需誨其兄弟鄰里、使識耶和華、蓋自尊逮卑、莫不知予、我將赦其罪、不錄其愆。

爾乃成聖之國、得救之民、推選之族、為王而祭司者、既蒙主召爾出幽暗、入靈光、爾當表彰其德、
