Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

Your covenant with death will be called off. The agreement you made with the place of the dead will not stand. When the terrible plague comes to punish you, you will be struck down by it.

你們曾說：「我們已與死亡立約，與陰間結盟，不可擋的鞭子揮過時，必不臨到我們；因我們以謊言為避難所，靠虛假來藏身」；

主耶和華如此說：這事必站立不住，也不得成就。

任憑你們籌算甚麼，終必無效；不管你們講定甚麼，總不成立；因為神與我們同在。

以法蓮酒徒高傲的冠冕，必被腳踐踏；

臨到一切碉堡、一切堅固的城牆，

過了六十二個七，那受膏者被剪除，一無所有；必有一王的百姓來毀滅這城和聖所，它的結局必如洪水沖沒。必有戰爭，一直到末了，荒涼的事已經定了。在一七之期，他必與許多人堅立盟約；一七之半，他必使獻祭與供獻止息。那施行毀滅的可憎之物必立在聖殿裏，直到所定的結局傾倒在那行毀滅者的身上。」

天使又對我說：「你所看見那淫婦坐的眾水，就是許多民族、人民、邦國、語言。

從四角中的一角又長出另一隻小角，向南、向東、向佳美之地，日漸壯大。牠漸壯大，高及諸天萬象，把一些天象和星辰摔落在地，用腳踐踏。牠自高自大，自以為高及萬象之君，牠除掉經常獻給君的祭，毀壞君的聖所。因罪過的緣故，有軍隊和經常獻的祭交給牠。牠把真理拋在地上，任意而行，無往不利。我聽見有一位聖者說話，又有一位聖者向那說話的聖者說：「這經常獻的祭、帶來荒涼的罪過、聖所與軍隊被踐踏的異象，要持續到幾時呢？」

必沖入猶大，漲溢氾濫，直到頸項。他展開翅膀，遮蔽你的全地。以馬內利啊！」

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，那日臨近，勢如燒着的火爐，凡狂傲的和行惡的都如碎稭，在那日被燒盡，根與枝條無一存留。但是，對你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽出現，其光線有醫治的能力。你們必出來跳躍如圈裏的牛犢。你們必踐踏惡人；在我所定的日子，他們必成為你們腳掌下的灰塵。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

耶和華如此說：看哪，有水從北方漲起，成為漲溢的河，要淹沒全地和其中所充滿的，淹沒城和城裏的居民。人必呼喊，境內的居民都必哀號。

然而我的言語和律例，就是我所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們的祖先嗎？他們就回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的所作所為對待我們，他也已經照樣行了。」

他卻背叛巴比倫王，差派使者前往埃及，要求埃及人給他馬匹和許多人。他豈能亨通呢？這樣做的人豈能逃脫呢？他背了約豈能逃脫呢？

「到末了，南方王要與北方王交戰。北方王要用戰車、騎兵和許多戰船，勢如暴風來攻擊他，又要侵入列國，如洪水氾濫。

蛇在婦人背後，從口中噴出水來，像河一樣，要將婦人沖走。

從埃及地能脫離刀劍、歸回猶大地的人數很少。那進入埃及地、在那裏寄居的，就是倖存的猶大人，必知道是誰的話站得住，是我的話呢，還是他們的話。
