Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

你們曾說：「我們與死亡立了約，與陰間定了協議；衝擊而來的鞭子經過時，不會臨到我們；我們以謊言為避難所，用虛假隱藏自己。」

但主耶和華如此說：「這事必立不住，也不會得逞，

你們籌謀吧，也終必遭挫敗；你們開口吧，也終必不成立！因為神與我們同在！

以法蓮酒徒的高傲冠冕，必被踩踏在腳下；

臨到所有高大的塔樓和所有堅固的城牆，

那六十二個『七』之後，受膏者必被剪除，他將一無所有。將要來一位領袖，他的民眾必毀滅這城和聖所，其結局必伴隨著洪流，必有戰爭直到末了；荒涼的事已經被註定了。他將與許多人訂立一個『七』之久的堅固盟約；而在半個『七』的時候，他將使祭物和供物止息。在那些可憎者的羽翼上，必出現一個帶來荒涼的人，直到那被註定的滅絕傾瀉在這帶來荒涼的人身上。」

天使又對我說：「你所看見的眾水，那淫婦所坐的地方，就是許多民族、人群、國家和語言群體。

從其中的一隻又長出一隻小犄角，向南、向東、向那榮美之地長得極其強大。它變得強大，高達天軍，把一部分天軍、一部分星辰摔落在地，並踩踏它們。它高抬自己，要高達天軍之首；它還除掉給天軍之首常獻的祭，使他的聖所之地被丟棄。因罪過的緣故，天軍與常獻的祭一同被交出去；這小犄角把真理丟棄在地，它所做的都順利。然後我聽見一位聖者在說話，又有一位聖者問那說話的：「這異象，就是有關常獻的祭、帶來荒涼的罪過、聖所和天軍被踐踏之事，要到什麼時候呢？」

然後湧入猶大，漫溢氾濫，高達頸項！他展開的翅膀，遍滿你廣闊的土地，以馬內利啊！」

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪！那日子將要來到，燃燒如火爐；所有傲慢的和作惡的都必成為麥稭，那要來的日子必把他們燒盡，不留下一根一枝。至於你們這些敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽為你們升起，它的光線帶來痊癒；你們必出來跳躍，像圈裡的牛犢。」萬軍之耶和華說：「你們必踐踏惡人；要知道，在我預備的日子，他們必在你們腳掌之下成為灰燼。

然而我吩咐我僕人眾先知的話語和律例，不都追上了你們的祖先嗎？於是他們回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華照著我們的道路和行為決意怎樣對待我們，他就怎樣對待了我們。』」

「末後的時期，南方王會與他衝撞。北方王必帶著戰車、馬兵和許多戰船，暴風般地攻擊他，並侵入列國，如洪水漫溢，縱橫穿越。

蛇就在那婦人後面，從口裡吐出水來，像江河一樣，要把她沖走。
