Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it.

你们说：“我们已经和死亡立约，与阴间结盟。灾难席卷而来的时候，我们会安然无恙，因为我们以谎言为庇护所，以诡诈为藏身处。”

但主耶和华说，“‘这阴谋必无法得逞。

你们设计谋吧，但休想得逞！你们定策略吧，但休想成功！因为上帝与我们同在。

以法莲酒徒引以为荣的华冠必被践踏。

毁灭高耸的城楼和坚固的城墙，

六十二个七之后，受膏者必被杀害，一无所有。另有一王要兴起，他的臣民要毁灭这城和圣所。结局必如洪水冲来，战争将持续到末了，到处一片荒凉——这已经注定。那王必与许多人缔结一七之久的盟约。一七之半，他必终止祭牲和供物，并且设立带来毁灭的可憎之物，直到所定的结局临到这恶者。”

天使又对我说：“你看见的那淫妇所坐的众水象征来自各民族、各国家、各语言族群的人。

其中一个角又长出一个小角，向南方、东方和佳美之地扩张势力。它逐渐强大，高及天军，将一些天军和星宿抛到地上，用脚践踏。它狂妄自大，要与天军的统帅比高，它废除日常献给祂的祭，毁坏祂的圣所。因为反叛的缘故，天军和日常所献的祭都交给了它。它将真理抛在地上，它所行的无不顺利。接着，我听见一位圣者在说话，另一位圣者问他：“异象中出现的有关日常所献的祭，毁灭性的反叛和践踏圣所及天军的事要持续多久呢？”

席卷犹大，使整个犹大几遭灭顶之灾。他必展开双翼横扫你的土地。”愿上帝与我们同在！

“万军之耶和华说，‘那日要来临了，就像烧红的火炉，所有狂妄自大、作恶多端的人都要像碎秸一样被火烧尽，连根带枝，荡然无存。但必有公义的太阳为你们这些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有医治的能力。你们必像栏中出来的牛犊一样欢欣跳跃。到我所定的日子，你们必践踏恶人，他们必成为你们脚下的尘土。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“看啊，大水将从北方涨溢，形成一道洪流，淹没大地和地上的一切，吞噬城邑和其中的居民。人们必呼喊，地上的居民必哀哭。

然而，我吩咐我仆人——众先知的训言和律例岂不应验在你们祖先的头上了吗？后来他们悔改了，说，万军之耶和华按着我们的所作所为报应了我们，正如祂所言。’”

后来，犹大王背叛了巴比伦王，派使者到埃及请求支援军队马匹。他能成功吗？他这样做怎能逃脱惩罚呢？他这样背约怎能逃脱惩罚呢？

“到了末后，南方王必与北方王交战。北方王必率领战车、骑兵和大批战船攻击他，又如洪水般横扫列国。

巨龙紧追不舍，张口吐出大量的水，如同江河一般，要冲走那妇人，

刀下余生、从埃及返回犹大的人必寥寥无几。那时，你们这些去埃及住的犹大人必知道谁的话会实现，是我的还是你们的。
