以法莲那些醉汉所戴的高傲冠冕，有祸了！它在肥美谷山顶上的荣美，有祸了！它必如将残的花朵，满了喝醉酒的人。

祸哉！以法莲酒徒的高傲冠冕——荣耀华美的将残之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山顶上。

禍哉！以法蓮的酒徒，住在肥美谷的山上，他們心裏高傲，以所誇的為冠冕，猶如將殘之花。

以法蓮被酒灌倒的醉漢高傲的華冠有禍啊！他那燦爛美麗、行將凋殘之花、在肥美平谷之山頂上的、有禍啊！

禍哉！以法蓮酒徒的高傲冠冕——榮耀華美的將殘之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山頂上。

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、

以法蓮建都於山嶺、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、禍將作矣。

以法蓮人沈湎於酒、其邑建於膏腴平原之岡、狀如華冠、華美莊嚴、遂以自誇、不知實似將殘之花、禍哉禍哉、或作以法蓮建都於高岡在膏腴之谷中狀若華冠其人沈湎於酒心高志傲不知其榮如將殘之花禍哉禍哉

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

How terrible it will be for the city of Samaria! It sits on a hill like a wreath of flowers. The leaders of Ephraim are drunk. They take pride in their city. It sits above a valley that has rich soil. How terrible it will be for the glorious beauty of that fading flower!

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

What sorrow awaits the proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel. It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. It is the pride of a people brought down by wine.

Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley. Woe to those overcome with wine.

Woe to the proud crown of the habitually drunk of Ephraim, And to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the fertile valley Of those who are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valleys, To those who are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of them that are overcome with wine!

The splendid crown of Ephraim’s drunkards is doomed, the withering flower, its beautiful splendor, situated at the head of a rich valley, the crown of those overcome with wine.

在我們君王宴樂的日子，官長因酒的烈性而生病，王與褻慢的人握手。

以法蓮酒徒高傲的冠冕，必被腳踐踏；那如凋殘之花的榮美，在肥沃的山谷頂上，必如夏令前初熟的無花果，讓看見的人注意，摘到手裏，隨即吞吃。

這些人也因酒搖晃，因烈酒東倒西歪。祭司和先知因烈酒搖晃，被酒所困，因烈酒東倒西歪。他們錯解默示，審判時不分是非。

淫亂。酒和新酒奪去人的心。

在以色列家我看見可憎的事，在以法蓮那裏有淫行，以色列被污辱了。

利瑪利的兒子比加一日之內在猶大殺了十二萬人，都是勇士，因為他們離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的神。

他收回以色列邊界之地，從哈馬口直到亞拉巴海，正如耶和華－以色列的神藉他僕人迦特‧希弗人亞米太的兒子約拿先知所說的。因耶和華看見以色列非常艱苦的困境；沒有奴役的，沒有自由的，也沒有人來幫助以色列。耶和華並沒有說要將以色列的名從天下塗抹，卻要藉約阿施的兒子耶羅波安拯救他們。

禍哉！那些以飲酒稱雄，以調烈酒稱霸的人。

在以色列王比加的日子，亞述王提革拉‧毗列色來奪取以雲、亞伯‧伯‧瑪迦、亞挪、基低斯、夏瑣、基列、加利利和拿弗他利全地，把這些地方的居民都擄到亞述去了。

信差遵着王命，拿着王和眾領袖所發的信，送達全以色列和猶大，說：「以色列人哪，當轉向耶和華－亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，好叫他轉向你們這些脫離亞述諸王之手的餘民。不要效法你們的祖先和你們的弟兄；他們干犯耶和華－他們列祖的神，以致耶和華使他們令人驚駭，正如你們所見的。

「那在錫安安逸，在撒瑪利亞山安穩，為列國之首，具有名望，且為以色列家所歸向的，有禍了！

過了三年，他們攻取了城。希西家第六年，以色列王何細亞第九年，撒瑪利亞被攻取了。亞述王把以色列人擄到亞述，安置在哈臘與歌散的哈博河邊，以及瑪代人的城鎮。這是因為他們不聽從耶和華－他們的神的話，違背了他的約；他們既不聽從，也不遵行耶和華僕人摩西一切所吩咐的。

「你們卻把酒給拿細耳人喝，囑咐先知說：『不要說預言。』

誰有禍患？誰有災難？誰有紛爭？誰有焦慮？誰無故受傷？誰的眼目紅赤？

以大碗喝酒，用上等油抹身，卻不為約瑟所受的苦難憂傷；

眾百姓，就是以法蓮和撒瑪利亞的居民，都將知道；他們憑驕傲自大的心說：

禍哉！那些清晨早起，追尋烈酒，因酒狂熱，流連到深夜的人，

因為亞蘭的首都是大馬士革，大馬士革的領袖是利汛；六十五年之內，以法蓮必然國破族亡，以法蓮的首都是撒瑪利亞；撒瑪利亞的領袖是利瑪利的兒子。你們若是不信，必站立不穩。』」

以色列的驕傲使自己臉面無光；以色列和以法蓮必因自己的罪孽跌倒，猶大也必與他們一同跌倒。

他們在各祭壇旁邊，躺臥在人所典當的衣服上，又在他們神的殿裏喝受罰之人的酒。

因為在這孩子還不曉得叫爸爸媽媽以前，大馬士革的財寶和撒瑪利亞的擄物必被亞述王掠奪一空。」
