祸哉！以法莲的酒徒，住在肥美谷的山上，他们心里高傲，以所夸的为冠冕，犹如将残之花。

祸哉！以法莲酒徒高傲的冠冕，其荣美竟如花凋残；他们在肥沃的山谷顶上，被酒击败。

禍哉！以法蓮酒徒的高傲冠冕——榮耀華美的將殘之花！它就在醉酒人肥沃之谷的山頂上。

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、

以法蓮建都於山嶺、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、禍將作矣。

以法蓮人沈湎於酒、其邑建於膏腴平原之岡、狀如華冠、華美莊嚴、遂以自誇、不知實似將殘之花、禍哉禍哉、或作以法蓮建都於高岡在膏腴之谷中狀若華冠其人沈湎於酒心高志傲不知其榮如將殘之花禍哉禍哉

Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim’s drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley— to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!

How terrible it will be for the city of Samaria! It sits on a hill like a wreath of flowers. The leaders of Ephraim are drunk. They take pride in their city. It sits above a valley that has rich soil. How terrible it will be for the glorious beauty of that fading flower!

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

What sorrow awaits the proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel. It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. It is the pride of a people brought down by wine.

Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim’s drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley. Woe to those overcome with wine.

Woe to the proud crown of the habitually drunk of Ephraim, And to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, Which is at the head of the fertile valley Of those who are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valleys, To those who are overcome with wine!

在我们王喜庆的日子，领袖们因酒的烈性而生病，王就与亵慢人联手。

以法莲的醉汉所戴的高傲冠冕，必被践踏在脚下。它在肥美谷山顶上如将残的花朵一般的荣美，必像夏天以前初熟的无花果。那些看见它的人，都必注意；一到手里，就把它吞吃了。

就是这地的人，也因酒摇晃不定，因浓酒东倒西歪；祭司和先知都因浓酒摇晃不定，被酒弄至昏乱，因浓酒东倒西歪。他们见异象的时候，摇晃不定，他们判断的时候，也颠颠倒倒。

淫行、酒和新酒，把人的心夺走了。

在以色列家！我看见了可怕的事；那里有以法莲的淫行，以色列被玷污了。

利玛利的儿子比加在犹大一天之内杀了十二万人，全是勇士，因为他们离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神。

他收复以色列的边境，从哈马口直到亚拉巴海，正如耶和华以色列的神的话，就是藉着他的仆人迦特希弗人亚米太的儿子约拿先知所说的；因为耶和华看见以色列十分艰苦，无论是自由的或为奴的都没有了，也没有帮助以色列的。耶和华没有定命要将以色列的名从天下涂抹，所以藉着约阿施的儿子耶罗波安的手拯救他们。

那些勇于喝酒，又精于调和浓酒的人，有祸了！

以色列王比加在位的日子，亚述王提革拉．毗列色前来，攻取了以云、亚伯．伯．玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利和拿弗他利全地，把居民掳到亚述去。

信差就带着王和众领袖发出的书信，走遍全以色列和犹大，照着王的吩咐，宣告说：“以色列人哪，你们应当转向耶和华，亚伯拉罕、以撒和以色列的神，使他也转向你们这些在亚述王手中逃脱的余民。你们不要像你们的列祖和你们的亲族，他们得罪了耶和华他们列祖的神，以致耶和华使他们成为令人惊骇的对象，就像你们自己所见的。

那些在锡安平静安逸的，安稳在撒玛利亚山上的，有祸了！你们是这列国中为首之大国的领袖，是以色列家所归向的。

过了三年，他们就攻取了撒玛利亚。希西家在位第六年，就是以色列王何细亚在位第九年，撒玛利亚被攻取了。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述去，把他们安置在哈腊、哈博河和歌散河，以及玛代人的城里；这是因为他们不听从耶和华他们神的话，违背他的约；耶和华的仆人摩西吩咐的一切，他们都不听从，不遵行。

‘但你们迫使拿细耳人喝酒，吩咐先知说：不要说预言。

谁有祸患？谁有愁苦？谁有纷争？谁有怨言？谁无故受伤？谁的眼睛赤红？

你们用大碗喝酒，用最贵重的膏油抹身；但你们并没有为约瑟的败落而痛心。

所有的人民，就是以法莲和撒玛利亚的居民，都要知道这事；他们凭着骄傲和自大的心说：

那些清早起来，追求浓酒，留连到晚上，以致因酒发烧的人，有祸了！

因为亚兰的首都是大马士革，大马士革的首领是利汛；六十五年之内，以法莲必定毁灭，不再成为一族之民。以法莲的首都是撒玛利亚，撒玛利亚的首领是利玛利的儿子；你们若不相信，就必定不得坚立。”’”

以色列的骄傲当面指证自己，以色列和以法莲因自己的罪孽跌倒，犹大也与他们一同跌倒。

他们在各祭坛旁，躺卧在别人抵押的衣服上面；在他们神的殿中，饮用拿剥削回来的钱所买的酒。

因为在这孩子晓得喊叫父母以先，大马士革的财宝和撒玛利亚的掳物，必在亚述王面前被搬了去。”
