當受罰之日、災禍遙臨、爾將何為、求拯濟於何人、置貨財於何處、

工師雕像、於製造者何益之有、鑄偶乃偽師、製造者恃此喑啞之像、何益之有、謂木曰寤、謂啞石曰起、其人禍哉、此物豈能垂訓乎、彼飾以金銀、而中無生氣、惟耶和華在其聖殿、全地當靜默於其前、

攜嬰及其母、往以色列地、蓋索嬰命者已死矣、

惟爾見擲、不入於墓、若被棄之枝、以被刺而死、下於石坑者為衣、若被踐之屍、爾不與諸王同葬、因爾敗爾國、殺爾民、惡人之裔、其名永不稱焉、○緣先人之愆、備戮厥子孫、免其興起而據地、建邑於普世、萬軍之耶和華曰、我將起而攻之、滅絕巴比倫之名、與其遺民、及其子孫、耶和華言之矣、

主曰、慰藉爾者我也、爾何人斯、乃畏必死之世人、懼如草之人子、而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

是日耶和華拯以色列民、脫於埃及人手、以色列民目睹埃及人之屍於海濱、

爾之死者將甦、我之屍身盡起、居塵土者、其醒而歌、因爾之露、乃光澤之露也、地將出其幽魂焉、○

此乃第一復起也、其餘死者尚未得生、迨屆千年焉、

我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、餘皆見殺於乘馬者口出之劍、眾鳥皆飽其肉焉、
