义人的纪念被称赞；恶人的名字必朽烂。

在那里，你们必侍奉人手所造的神，就是用木石造成、不能看、不能听、不能吃、不能闻的神。

到降罚的日子，有灾祸从远方临到，那时，你们怎样行呢？你们向谁逃奔求救呢？你们的荣耀存留何处呢？

雕刻的偶像，人将它刻出来，有什么益处呢？铸造的偶像就是虚谎的师傅。制造者倚靠这哑巴偶像有什么益处呢？对木偶说：“醒起！”对哑巴石像说：“起来！”那人有祸了！这个还能教训人吗？看哪，是包裹金银的，其中毫无气息。惟耶和华在他的圣殿中；全地的人都当在他面前肃敬静默。

“起来！带着小孩子和他母亲往以色列地去，因为要害小孩子性命的人已经死了。”

惟独你被抛弃，不得入你的坟墓，好像可憎的枝子，以被杀的人为衣，就是被刀刺透，坠落坑中石头那里的；你又像被践踏的尸首一样。你不得与君王同葬；因为你败坏你的国，杀戮你的民。“恶人后裔的名，必永不提说。先人既有罪孽，就要预备杀戮他的子孙，免得他们兴起来，得了遍地，在世上修满城邑。”万军之耶和华说：“我必兴起攻击他们，将巴比伦的名号和所余剩的人，连子带孙一并剪除。这是耶和华说的。

“惟有我，是安慰你们的。你是谁？竟怕那必死的人，怕那要变如草的世人，却忘记铺张诸天、立定地基、创造你的耶和华。又因欺压者图谋毁灭要发的暴怒，整天害怕！其实那欺压者的暴怒在哪里呢？

当日，耶和华这样拯救以色列人脱离埃及人的手，以色列人看见埃及人的死尸都在海边了。

死人要复活，尸首要兴起。睡在尘埃的啊，要醒起歌唱！因你的甘露好像菜蔬上的甘露，地也要交出死人来。

这是头一次的复活。其余的死人还没有复活，直等那一千年完了。

我看见那兽和地上的君王，并他们的众军都聚集，要与骑白马的并他的军兵争战。那兽被擒拿；那在兽面前曾行奇事、迷惑受兽印记和拜兽像之人的假先知，也与兽同被擒拿。他们两个就活活地被扔在烧着硫磺的火湖里；其余的被骑白马者口中出来的剑杀了；飞鸟都吃饱了他们的肉。
