這能死的既穿上了不死，那時經上所記：『死被吞滅在勝利中』的話便應驗了。

我必贖救他們脫離陰間的權勢；我必贖回他們脫離死亡。死亡啊，你的災害在哪裏？陰間哪，你的毁滅在哪裏？我看不到須改變心意呀。

因為在寶座中的羔羊必牧養他們，領他們到生命水之泉源那裏；上帝也從他們眼上擦去一切的眼淚。』

蒙永恆主贖救的人必返回，必歡呼來到錫安；永遠的喜樂必歸到他們頭上；歡躍喜樂、他們必得到，憂愁歎息盡都逃走。

當永恆主綁紮他人民的傷口，醫治其受打之重傷的日子，月光必像日光，日光必加七倍，像七個日頭的光一樣。

『不要懼怕，因為你必不至於蒙羞；不要抱愧，因為你必不至於受辱；因為你幼年的羞愧、你必忘記，你寡居的羞辱、你必不再懷念。

哦，錫安裏的人民、住在耶路撒冷的人哪，你一定不必再哭；他一定因你的哀呼聲來恩待你；他聽見時就要應你。

蒙永恆主贖救的人必返回，必歡呼來到錫安；永遠的喜樂必歸到他們頭上；歡躍喜樂、他們都必得到，憂愁歎息盡都逃走。

萬軍之永恆主說：『在我行動的日子、他們必屬於我做特別產業；我必顧惜他們，正如人顧惜自己的兒子、那服事自己的一樣。那時你們就必重新看出義人與惡人之間、事奉上帝的與不事奉上帝的之間、有甚麼分別了。

因為這為你的殿之熱心把我燒得急死了；而辱罵你的辱罵都落到我身上來了。

儘末了將要被消滅的仇敵就是死；

對他說：『希西家這麼說：「今日是有急難、受責罰、受侮慢的日子；就如嬰兒臨到生產的關頭，卻沒有力量生出來。

這樣，孩子們既有分於血與肉，他自己也同樣與分於血與肉，這是要讓他藉着死叫那掌有死權的——就是魔鬼——無能為力，並解放那些因怕死而一生受制於奴轄中的人。

然後死亡和陰間也被丟在火湖裏。這火湖就是第二次的死。

人辱罵你們，逼迫你們，憑空虛造說出各樣壞話毁謗你們；為了我的緣故、你們是有福的。應當歡喜快樂，因為你們在天上的賞報很大；因為你們以前的神言人，人也這樣逼迫他們。

如今藉着我們的救主基督耶穌之顯現為人所顯明出來的。他把死廢掉，又藉着福音將生命與「不朽」彰顯出來。

我必因耶路撒冷而快樂，因我的人民而高興；其中必不再聽到哭泣的聲音，也不再聽到哀呼的聲音。

主啊，求你記得你僕人們所受的羞辱，記得我怎樣擔受別族之民的侮辱於懷裏；永恆主啊，這就是你的仇敵所羞辱你僕人的；這就是敵人所羞辱你膏立者的腳蹤。

你們必得加倍的好處以代替慚愧；你們必歡樂於你們的分、以代替羞辱；故此在你們國中你們必擁有雙倍以為業；永遠的喜樂必定是你們的。

一聽見永恆主的話、就戰戰兢兢的人哪，你們聽永恆主的話吧！『你們的弟兄、那些恨惡你們、使你們為我名的緣故被趕逐的、曾譏笑說：「願永恆主得榮耀啊！讓我們看看你們的喜樂啊！」其實呢、蒙羞抱愧的倒是這種人呢！

你雖被撇棄被厭惡，無人經過，我卻要使你變為永遠的豪華，代代之喜悅。

你們若在基督名內受辱罵，是有福的；因為「榮耀」之靈、就是上帝之靈、住在你們身上。
