And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones[ that are] on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

當是時萬有之主耶和華、為君於耶路撒冷、以及郇山、於諸長老前、顯其榮光、罰斯土之王、高位之臣、若令日月韜光隱耀、使之蒙恥、如罪人囚於囹圄、歷日既久、復加眷顧。

當是日主在高高或作穹蒼懲罰在高諸軍、在地懲罰地之列王、

In that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.

At that time the Lord will punish the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens above. He will also punish the kings on the earth below.

On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth.

In that day the Lord will punish the gods in the heavens and the proud rulers of the nations on earth.

On that day the LORD will punish the army of the heights in the heights and the kings of the ground on the ground.

So it will happen on that day, That the Lord will punish the rebellious angels of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.

It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven above and kings of the earth below.

At that time the LORD will punish the heavenly forces in the heavens and the earthly kings on the earth.

It will happen in that day that Yahweh will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes:[ he is] terrible to the kings of the earth.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.And it shall come to pass,[ that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.And it shall be,[ that] whoso will not come up of[ all] the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that[ have] no[ rain]; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Wherefore it shall come to pass,[ that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

For the indignation of the LORD[ is] upon all nations, and[ his] fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling[ fig] from the fig tree.For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.For[ it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance,[ and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none[ shall be] there, and all her princes shall be nothing.And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons,[ and] a court for owls.The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.

For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and[ as] his rod[ was] upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I[ am] strong.Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness[ is] great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD[ is] near in the valley of decision.The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD[ will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.So shall ye know that I[ am] the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth[ his hands] to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low,[ and] bring to the ground,[ even] to the dust.

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

[ Let] the high[ praises] of God[ be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;To execute vengeance upon the heathen,[ and] punishments upon the people;To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him[ are] called, and chosen, and faithful.

That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all[ men, both] free and bond, both small and great.And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which[ sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence[ against] the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I[ am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts[ of armour, even] a great company[ with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands:[ and] many people with thee.Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land[ that is] brought back from the sword,[ and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass,[ that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places[ that are now] inhabited, and upon the people[ that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know[ it]?And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.Thus saith the Lord GOD;[ Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days[ many] years that I would bring thee against them?And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD,[ that] my fury shall come up in my face.For in my jealousy[ and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that[ are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that[ are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.
