又要攻击黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏树，和巴珊所有的橡树。

又临到所有高耸挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏树和所有巴珊的橡树，

又臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹；

臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、巴珊的橡樹，

臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、巴珊的橡樹，

祂必毀滅黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹，

又要攻擊黎巴嫩所有高大的香柏樹，和巴珊所有的橡樹。

要攻擊利巴嫩高而昂的香柏樹，和巴珊的橡樹；

又臨到所有高聳挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏樹和所有巴珊的橡樹，

亦臨及利巴嫩高大之香柏、巴珊之橡樹、

凡利巴嫩干霄之柏香木、巴山之橡樹。

必伐利巴嫩諸高大之柏香木、巴珊之諸橡樹、

The Lord has set that day apart for all the cedar trees in Lebanon. They are very tall. He has set that day apart for all the oak trees in Bashan.

against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up; and against all the oaks of Bashan;

He will cut down the tall cedars of Lebanon and all the mighty oaks of Bashan.

against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,

And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the oaks of Bashan,

Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan;

and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,

And upon all the cedars of Lebanon,[ that are] high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are so high and mighty, for all the oaks of Bashan;

for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,

Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon gloat over you and say,“ Now that you have been laid low, no one comes to cut us down.”

Open your doors, Lebanon, so that fire may devour your cedars!Wail, you juniper, for the cedar has fallen; the stately trees are ruined! Wail, oaks of Bashan; the dense forest has been cut down!

By your messengers you have ridiculed the Lord. And you have said,‘ With my many chariots I have ascended the heights of the mountains, the utmost heights of Lebanon. I have cut down its tallest cedars, the choicest of its junipers. I have reached its remotest heights, the finest of its forests.

See, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will lop off the boughs with great power. The lofty trees will be felled, the tall ones will be brought low.He will cut down the forest thickets with an ax; Lebanon will fall before the Mighty One.

I will send fire on Judah that will consume the fortresses of Jerusalem.”

Consider Assyria, once a cedar in Lebanon, with beautiful branches overshadowing the forest; it towered on high, its top above the thick foliage.The waters nourished it, deep springs made it grow tall; their streams flowed all around its base and sent their channels to all the trees of the field.So it towered higher than all the trees of the field; its boughs increased and its branches grew long, spreading because of abundant waters.All the birds of the sky nested in its boughs, all the animals of the wild gave birth under its branches; all the great nations lived in its shade.It was majestic in beauty, with its spreading boughs, for its roots went down to abundant waters.The cedars in the garden of God could not rival it, nor could the junipers equal its boughs, nor could the plane trees compare with its branches— no tree in the garden of God could match its beauty.I made it beautiful with abundant branches, the envy of all the trees of Eden in the garden of God.“‘ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because the great cedar towered over the thick foliage, and because it was proud of its height,I gave it into the hands of the ruler of the nations, for him to deal with according to its wickedness. I cast it aside,and the most ruthless of foreign nations cut it down and left it. Its boughs fell on the mountains and in all the valleys; its branches lay broken in all the ravines of the land. All the nations of the earth came out from under its shade and left it.
