確實，他們是樂意的，不過這也是他們的責任，因為外邦人如果分享了猶太人屬靈的事，也就應該在物質的事上服事猶太人。所以，當我完成了這件事，向他們印證了這事的成果，我就要經過你們那裡，往西班牙去。

耶和華顯明了他的救恩，在列國眼前顯出他的公義。他記念他對以色列家的慈愛和信實，所有的地極都看見我們神的救恩。

你向神許了願，償還不可遲延，因為神不喜歡愚昧人；你所許的願應當償還。

你們也就像活石，被建造成一座屬靈的殿宇，進入聖潔的祭司體系，好藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的屬靈祭物，

耶和華我們的神哪，現在求你拯救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道，唯獨你——你是耶和華！」

這樣，你的道路就顯明在地上，你的救恩就顯明在萬國中。

前來攻擊耶路撒冷的萬國中所有存留下來的人，都必年復一年上來敬拜大君王萬軍之耶和華，並且守住棚節。地上的萬族中，凡不上耶路撒冷敬拜大君王萬軍之耶和華的，就不會有雨水降在他們的地上。如果埃及民族不上來參與，就不會有雨水降在他們的地上；這就是耶和華要降下的災疫，用來擊打那些不上來守住棚節的國家，

從前，你們不認識神的時候，固然給那些本性上不是神的做了奴僕，但如今，你們認識了神——不過更要說，被神所認識——怎麼能再回到那無能、無用的原則裡去呢？你們願意再重新做它們的奴僕嗎？

耶穌說：「婦人，你當相信我，時候就要到了！那時你們敬拜父，既不在這山上，也不在耶路撒冷。你們敬拜你們所不認識的；我們卻敬拜我們所認識的，因為救恩是出自猶太人的。然而，時候就要到了，現在就是了！那時真正敬拜的人，要在靈裡和真理中敬拜父，因為父就是想要這樣的人來敬拜他。神是靈，敬拜他的人必須在靈裡和真理中敬拜。」

今天耶和華必把你交在我手中，我要擊殺你，從你身上砍下你的頭。今天我還要把非利士軍兵的屍首給天空的飛鳥和地上的野獸。這樣全地都會知道：以色列中有一位神；

認識你——獨一的真神，並認識你所差派的耶穌基督，這就是永恆的生命。

但你們屬於蒙揀選的族類、君王的祭司體系、聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民；為要使你們宣揚曾召喚你們的那一位的美德——他召喚你們出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。

看哪！你將召喚你不認識的國民，而那些不認識你的國民也將向你跑來。這是因耶和華你的神、以色列聖者的緣故，因為他已經使你得榮耀。」
