It will be a sign and a witness that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is worshiped in the land of Egypt. When the people cry to the Lord for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a savior who will rescue them.

必有松樹長出代替荊棘，必有桃金娘長出代替蒺藜——這要為耶和華揚名，作為永不剪除的標記。」

看哪！工人收割你們的田地，你們所剋扣他們的工錢正在呼叫，收割者的冤聲也已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。

今天，在大衛的城裡，為你們誕生了一位救主，他就是主基督。

我要把埃及交在嚴酷的主人手中，凶猛的君王必管轄他們。」這是主萬軍之耶和華的宣告。

亞述王也必把埃及的俘虜和庫實的被擄之民怎樣帶走，使他們無論老少都裸體赤足、露出臀部——成為埃及的羞恥。

期待那蒙福的盼望，以及我們那偉大的神、救主耶穌基督榮耀的顯現。

然而耶和華如此說：「就算是勇士的俘虜，也必被奪回；強橫者的擄物，也必被救出。與你爭鬥的，我必親自與他爭鬥；至於你的兒女，我必親自拯救。我要使欺負你的人吃他們自己的肉；他們必醉飲自己的血，如同醉飲甜酒。那時，一切有血肉的就都知道：我是耶和華，是你的拯救者，是你的救贖主，是雅各的大能者。」

現在這情形對我有什麼意義！」這是耶和華的宣告。「我的子民被人無償地帶走；管轄他們的人在號叫；我的名終日不斷地被藐視。」這是耶和華的宣告。

在患難的日子裡，你當呼求我，我必搭救你，而你將榮耀我。」

——近前宣告，一同商議吧！是誰從古時就告知了這事呢？是誰從前就宣告了這事呢？難道不是我耶和華嗎？除我以外，沒有別的神；我是公義的神和拯救者；除我以外，一個也沒有。所有地極的人哪，你們當轉向我，就必得救！因為我是神，別無其二。

於是耶和華的使者出去，在亞述的營中擊殺了十八萬五千人；清早人們起來，看哪，所見的都是死屍！
