And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified, because of what the Lord Almighty is planning against them.

The people of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians. Everyone in Egypt who hears the name of Judah will be terrified. That’s because of what the Lord who rules over all is planning to do to them.

And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians. Everyone to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose that the Lord of hosts has purposed against them.

Just to speak the name of Israel will terrorize them, for the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has laid out his plans against them.

The land of Judah will terrify Egypt; whenever Judah is mentioned, Egypt will tremble because of what the LORD of Armies has planned against it.

The land of Judah will become a cause of shame to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in great fear because of the plan of the Lord of armies which He is making against them.

And the land of Judah will be a terror to Egypt; everyone who makes mention of it will be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts which He has determined against it.

地上居民、悉若無有、彼於天上軍旅、地上億兆、隨意而行、無能阻其手、或詰之曰、爾何為者、

希西家王十四年、亞述王西拿基立、上攻猶大諸堅城取之、

埃及居民、則知我乃耶和華、蓋埃及人、為以色列家所恃之葦杖、彼執爾於手、爾則斷折、致傷其肩、彼倚爾時、爾則斷折、致閃其腰、

在答比匿、耶和華諭耶利米曰、手取巨石、藏於答比匿法老宮門前鋪磚地之泥中、使猶大人目睹、告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、我必召我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、置其位於我所藏之石、張其王幕於上、彼至擊埃及地、當死者必死之、當虜者必虜之、當刃者必刃之、我將縱火於埃及諸神之廟、彼必焚之、掠之、取埃及地以歸己、如牧者之衣衣、自彼安然而出、亦必碎埃及地伯示麥之柱像、火焚埃及諸神之廟、

脫於鋒刃、自埃及返猶大者、為數無幾、猶大遺民、入埃及而居者、必知伊誰之言得應、我之言歟、抑彼之言歟、耶和華曰、我必罰爾於斯土、有兆可徵、使爾知我所言降禍於爾、其言必應、我必以埃及王法老合弗拉、付於厥敵、及索其命者之手、如我以猶大王西底家、付於厥敵、及索其命者巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、耶和華言之矣、

又有埃及王法老、與其臣僕、牧伯庶民、

我自始而示厥終、自昔而言未來之事、謂我所謀者必驗、所悅者必行、召彼鷙鳥、至自東方、成我謀者、來自遠地、我既言之、亦必行之、我既定之、亦必成之、

爾當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾其飲之而醉、至於哇吐、顚躓而不復起、因我使鋒刃入於爾中也、如彼不欲自爾手取杯飲之、則當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、爾必飲之、蓋我降災、始於我寄名之邑、爾豈能盡免刑罰乎、必不免也、我必使鋒刃臨於地上居民、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、故當以此諸言、對眾預言之曰、耶和華必自上號呼、自聖所發聲、向其羣羊大呼、對地上居民而呼、若踐葡萄者然、將有聲聞於地極、蓋耶和華與列邦爭、必鞫凡有血氣者、至於惡人、付之鋒刃、耶和華言之矣、○

是時耶和華諭亞摩斯子以賽亞曰、往哉、釋爾腰之麻、解爾足之履、彼乃遵命、裸體跣足而行、耶和華曰、我僕以賽亞三年裸體跣足而行、為預兆異蹟於埃及古實、如是、亞述王必將埃及之俘囚、古實之俘虜、引之而去、無論老幼、裸體跣足、顯露其臀、以辱埃及、彼嘗以古實為望、以埃及為榮、必皆驚懼慚怍、

是乃所定之旨、行於天下、是乃所伸之手、加於列邦、萬軍之耶和華、既定其旨、誰能廢之、既伸厥手、誰能挽之、○
