In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them.

In days to come, the people of Egypt will become weak. The Lord who rules over all will raise his hand against them. Then they will tremble with fear.

In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the Lord of hosts shakes over them.

In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

On that day Egypt will be like women and will tremble with fear because of the threatening hand of the LORD of Armies when he raises it against them.

耶和華將竭埃及海股、揮手河上、加以烈風、擊之分為七川、使人著屨以涉、

巴比倫之武士不戰、居於保障、厥力已衰、有如婦女、第宅被焚、門楗見折、

爾境之民、同於婦女、爾國之門、啟於敵前、門楗為火所焚、

是日駐軍於挪伯、揮手向錫安女之山、即耶路撒冷之岡也、○

刃臨於其馬與車、暨其中雜族、使若婦女、刃臨於其貨財、使遭攘奪、

耶和華必令人聞其威聲、且見其臂力、及忿怒、烈火、暴雨、巨風、冰雹、亞述因聞耶和華之聲而恐惶、彼必以其杖擊之、耶和華每以所定之杖擊之、人則擊鼓彈琴、彼必揮拳、戰而攻之、

我將向之搖手、彼必為其廝役所虜、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我矣、

一人叱咤、而千人逃、五人叱咤、而眾人遁、迨爾所遺、如山巔之竿、嶺上之旌、

陷於維生上帝手、可懼哉、○

戰慄持之、痛苦如臨產之婦兮、

耶和華曰、我聞戰慄驚恐之聲、非平康之聲、爾試訪察、男產子乎、我見人各以手支腰、若臨產之婦、面呈灰色、此何故耶、哀哉、其日大矣、無可比儗、乃雅各遭禍之期、然必獲救、而得脫焉、
