The Lord has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.

The Lord has given them a spirit that makes them feel dizzy. They make Egypt unsteady in everything it does. Egypt is like a person who drinks too much. He throws up and then walks around in the mess he’s made.

The Lord has mingled within her a spirit of confusion, and they will make Egypt stagger in all its deeds, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit.

The Lord has sent a spirit of foolishness on them, so all their suggestions are wrong. They cause Egypt to stagger like a drunk in his vomit.

耶和華曰、誰願誘亞哈往基列拉末、而隕沒乎、其一曰如此、其一曰如彼、後有神出、立於耶和華前曰、我願誘之、曰、何以誘之、曰、我將出為誑言之神、在其眾先知之口、曰、爾往為之、必成其事、今耶和華以誑言之神、置爾眾先知之口、耶和華有言、將加禍於爾、

以色列家人、及旅以色列中之外人、凡離我而納其偶像於心、置陷罪之窒礙於前、而詣先知、諮諏於我者、我耶和華必自應之、我必怒顏向之、使其令人駭異、為鑑戒、作話柄、絕之於我民中、爾則知我乃耶和華、如先知被誘而宣言、乃我耶和華使然、我必伸手其上、滅之於我民以色列中、

爾當告之曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾其飲之而醉、至於哇吐、顚躓而不復起、因我使鋒刃入於爾中也、

若輩無光、暗中摸索、以致蹁躚若醉、

爾恃己惡、自言無見我者、爾之智識誘爾、自謂有我、我外無他、是故禍患必臨爾、不知所由、災難必及爾、無以禳之、殄滅突來、難以逆料、

爾其愕然驚異、瞀然目盲、沈醉不因清酒、蹁躚非以醇醪、蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、

以色列之上帝耶和華諭我曰、我手忿怒之杯、爾其取之、使我遣爾所至之國飲之、彼必飲之、搖曳顚狂、因我使鋒刃入於其中也、

故我將行奇事於斯民、奇之最奇、智者亡其智、聰者蔽其聰、○

耶穌曰、噫、悖逆不信之世、我偕爾至幾何時、忍爾至幾何時乎、攜之就我、

我將激埃及人攻埃及人、兄弟攻兄弟、鄰里攻鄰里、邑攻邑、國攻國、

緣摩押自大、悖逆耶和華、當使之沈醉、輾轉於所哇者中、為人姍笑、

斯人也、以清酒而搖曳、以醇醪而蹁躚、祭司先知、亦以醇醪而搖曳、皆困於酒、以醇醪而蹁躚、見異象則謬解、行審判則顚蹶、哇吐盈幾、無地清潔、

在彼具能力、有智慧、受惑與惑人者、皆其所轄、
