當是日雅各家鞏固之城、變為荒寂、與昔以色列族未至之時、山林中所遺之古跡、無以異也。

在那日，他们的坚固城必像树林中和山顶上所撇弃的地方，就是从前在以色列人面前被人撇弃的。这样，地就荒凉了。

到那日，那些在以色列子孫面前被遺棄的堅固城，必像樹林中和山頂上的被遺棄之所；於是那地就變得荒涼；

是日也、其堅城見棄、若昔於以色列人前、林中山上所遺之處、地盡荒蕪、

當是日其鞏固之城將見遺棄、如昔迦南人因以色列人之故、在林中、在山上、所遺棄之城邑、地則荒蕪、

In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.

At that time the strong cities in Israel will be deserted. They will be as they were when the Israelites drove the Canaanites away. They will be like places that are taken over by bushes and weeds. The whole land will become dry and empty.

In that day their strong cities will be like the deserted places of the wooded heights and the hilltops, which they deserted because of the children of Israel, and there will be desolation.

Their largest cities will be like a deserted forest, like the land the Hivites and Amorites abandoned when the Israelites came here so long ago. It will be utterly desolate.

On that day their strong cities will be like the abandoned woods and mountaintops that were abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

On that day their strong cities will be like abandoned places in the forest, Or like branches which they abandoned before the sons of Israel; And the land will be a desolation.

In that day his strong cities will be as a forsaken bough And an uppermost branch, Which they left because of the children of Israel; And there will be desolation.

In that day shall their strong cities be as the forsaken places in the wood and on the mountain top, which were forsaken from before the children of Israel; and it shall be a desolation.

On that day their strong cities will be like the abandoned woods and mountaintops that were abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

At that time their fortified cities will be like the abandoned summits of the Amorites, which they abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

In that day, their strong cities will be like the forsaken places in the woods and on the mountain top, which were forsaken from before the children of Israel; and it will be a desolation.

故主耶和華曰、必有敵人、環攻斯土、破爾城垣、毀爾宮殿、耶和華又曰、譬彼牧童、脫羊二足一耳、出於獅口、以色列族居撒馬利亞及大馬色、若偃卧於床隅、必蒙救援亦若是、萬有之主耶和華上帝曰宜聽斯言、告彼雅各家。我罰以色列族時、亦必降災於伯特利祭壇、斷其四角、毀之於地、涼室溫宮、俱必傾圮、象牙之宅、崇峻之第、俱歸烏有、我耶和華已言之矣。

敵之城垣、變為荒蕪、敵之宅第、盡為邱墟、牛犢皆牧於彼、或寢或訛、嚙蒭蕘而食萌櫱、

以法蓮雖在昆弟之中、最為昌熾、我耶和華必使東風來自曠野、使其泉源立涸、彼之寶器、盡為敵虜、撒馬利亞人獲罪於上帝、故必荒蕪、亡於鋒刃、其嬰孩將相捽而死、其孕婦必刳剔而亡。

以法蓮建都於山嶺、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、禍將作矣。主命勁敵、勢若狂風大雹、行潦四溢、都城傾圮、以法蓮建都山巔、望之若冠花冠、四周有谷、土壤膏腴、民人沉湎於酒、心志驕奢、不知浮榮易悴、竟遭蹂躪、亦如夏之無花果、人一見之、則摘而食焉。

使以法蓮、撒馬利亞居民、無不共知、彼心驕志傲、常自言曰、瓦傾圮、我以石建、桑斬伐、吾用柏香木、故耶和華必使哩汛之敵人蜂起、眾寇糾合、以攻以法蓮、東則有亞蘭人、西有非利士人、厥口孔張、吞噬以色列族、主之忿怒、猶未息也、主之降罰、尚未已也。

耶和華使斯土荒蕪、國家傾覆、居民離散、若庶人若祭司、若僕若主、若婢女、若主母、若鬻諸人、若購於人、若貸人以金、若借人之金、若得子母、若納子母者、俱必流離失所、斯地必為邱墟、刧掠殆盡、耶和華已言之矣。土地荒蕪、居民哀哭、位高者亦廢、民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、上帝降災、居民遭譴、如受火烙、存者無幾、葡萄之樹、枝葉全枯、新釀之酒、臭味俱變、昔之懽愉者、今則慨嘆、播鼗鼓琴者無人欣喜、歡忭已止、飲酒之時、不再謳歌、以醇醪為甚苦、毀其城垣、鍵其宅第、無人得入、歡樂變為憂戚、通衢之民號呼、欲飲酒以消愁、城中荒蕪、邑門被毀、

以撒之崇坵必傾圮、以色列之聖所必荒蕪、我將以刃擊耶羅破暗家。

當其年華未富、明睿未開之日、爾所懼之二王、其國必為墟、耶和華將使亞述王降災於汝、及爾國家、自以法蓮叛猶大國、迄今未有若是之甚、當是時、埃及之民、處於河濱、耶和華呼集之、如蠅群飛、亞述之人、耶和華號召之、若蜂之擁。俾至斯土、棲於荒谷、牧地、伏於巖穴、叢棘、亞述國王河外之人、爾饋以金、耶和華反使之翦滅爾民、若刀薙毛髮、去髭鬚、自頂放踵、幾無噍類、

暗利王之法度、爾乃恪守焉、亞哈家之愆尤、爾反則傚、與之同謀焉、故我必使爾邑荒蕪、人作怨恨之聲、昔爾為我民、後必為眾戮辱焉。

我曰主歟、將至何時、曰、迨乎城垣傾圮、土地荒蕪、室廬寂寞、無人居之、斯土之民、我耶和華必徙諸遠邦、故土蕭條、其中居民、尚存什一、屢遭喪敗、譬彼橡樹、雖經斬伐、猶留其幹、為善之人亦若是。

斯土居民、所作不端、故必荒蕪、報施不爽、

爾民必叛、毀爾城邑、昔殺慢與伯亞比勒戰、毀其城垣、使母與嬰孩、相捽而死、爾城見毀、亦若是。
