凡祭壇木偶日像、人手所作者咸不瞻望焉。

不望己手所築之壇、不瞻己指所造之物、或木偶、或日像、

不復仰望己手所作之壇、不復瞻己指所製之亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶及日像、

They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.

They won’t trust in the altars they made with their own hands. They won’t pay any attention to the poles they used to worship the female god named Asherah. And they won’t depend on the incense altars they made with their own fingers.

He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, and he will not look on what his own fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense.

They will no longer look to their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made. They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or worship at the pagan shrines they have built.

And he will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, Nor will he look to that which his fingers have made, Even the Asherim and incense altars.

They will no longer trust in the altars their hands made, or depend on the Asherah poles and incense altars their fingers made.

爾之偶像、飾以金銀、爾必視之為污衊、若不潔之布、去之惟恐不遠、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

斫爾偶像、使爾於人手所作之物、不復崇拜焉、伐爾林木、毀爾城邑、

更有偶像林立、皆其手造、彼民也、自尊逮卑、上帝必降抑之、不加赦宥。

人取為柴、燃之可以暖體、可以烘餅、復作上帝像、俯伏而拜。

必摧其壇、毀其像、斫其偶、

萬有之主耶和華曰、當是日我必棄偶像於斯土、使人頓忘其名、亦必使感邪神之先知、驅逐於斯、

在猶大諸邑、廢崇坵、毀日像、國享平康。

先知曰、以色列族若葡萄樹、枝葉蓁蓁、果實纍纍、結果愈繁、築壇愈多、田疇益肥美、偶像益壯麗、以色列族咸懷二心、必遭重罰、傾其祭壇、毀其偶像。

凡諸偶像、盡歸消亡。耶和華有威可畏、勃然而興、地以震動、人必入於磐巖、匿於窟穴、以避其災。是日也、人以所作之金銀偶像、居恆所崇拜者、投於鼹鼠蝙蝠之穴。耶和華有威可畏、勃然而興、地以震動、人必入於磐巖、匿於窟穴、以避其災。

昔以色列族中、惟以法蓮為最著、出一言而眾懾、後崇巴力、蹈愆尤、大權旁落、今為惡益甚、匠人以巧捷之技、鎔銀鑄像、祭司命眾、敬彼犢像、接吻以為禮、

居民野獸、飛鳥海魚、偶像惡人、俱必殞亡、我耶和華已言之矣。

爾曹以色列族昔日違我、今當歸誠、昔用金銀、作諸偶像、蹈於罪愆、今當棄之、惟恐不遠、

昔爾在園囿林樹間、奉事偶像、以為悅懌、後必恥之。

孰能深思其故、奮然儆醒曰、材木之半、焚之可以烘餅炙肉、而供口腹、則其餘材、豈可作像、拜此可憎之榾柮。彼心昏迷、所望成空、若食燼餘而不悟、不知右手所作、悉屬虛妄。

王使人毀巴力壇、日像高懸於側、王斫之、伐林木、擣偶像成粉、揚於祭偶者之塚。

彼所簡之王、所立之牧、非我所悅、以金銀作偶像、必為我所殄絕。撒馬利亞人拜犢像、作可惡之事、我深痛疾、爾不向善、伊於何底、作斯犢像者、以色列之工人也、彼非上帝、故必見毀、

以法蓮族與偶像何涉、我垂念之、使之扶疏若松、賴我而結實、

在馬拿西、以法蓮、西面諸邑、延及納大利毀諸淫祠。於是以色列全地、毀祭壇、伐林木、擣偶像成粉、乃歸耶路撒冷。

以清水灑爾、使爾為潔、凡拜偶像行淫穢之事、均滌除焉。
