They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.

They won’t trust in the altars they made with their own hands. They won’t pay any attention to the poles they used to worship the female god named Asherah. And they won’t depend on the incense altars they made with their own fingers.

He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, and he will not look on what his own fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense.

They will no longer look to their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made. They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or worship at the pagan shrines they have built.

你們必拋棄自己那些鍍金包銀的偶像，把它們當作污穢之物丟掉，對它們說：「去吧！」

藉此，雅各家的罪惡必得到赦免，他們罪惡被除掉後所結的果實是：打碎假神祭壇的石頭，推倒亞舍拉神像和香壇。

我要從你們中間除去雕刻的神像和神柱，使你們不再跪拜自己所造的。我要從你們中間剷除亞舍拉神像，毀滅你們的偶像。

他們境內偶像林立，他們跪拜自己用手所造的物品，跪拜自己用指頭所造之物。

這樹可以用來作燃料，他取一些木料生火取暖、烤餅，又製成神像來祭拜，雕成偶像來叩拜。

相反，要拆掉他們的祭壇，打碎他們的神柱，砍掉他們的亞舍拉神像。

「到那天，我必剷除地上偶像的名號，使它們被人遺忘；我必除去地上的假先知和污穢的靈。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

他除掉猶大各城邑的邱壇和香壇，那時國中太平。

以色列是茂盛的葡萄樹，碩果纍纍。可是，他結果越多，建造的祭壇就越多；土地出產越豐富，他就把神柱裝飾得越美麗。他們心懷詭詐，必受懲罰。耶和華要拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的神柱。

偶像必被徹底剷除。耶和華使大地震動的時候，眾人躲進岩穴，藏入地洞，逃避祂的憤怒和威榮。到那日，眾人必把造來敬拜的金銀偶像丟給田鼠和蝙蝠。耶和華使大地震動的時候，眾人必躲進山洞和岩縫，逃避祂的憤怒和威榮。

以法蓮支派在以色列地位崇高，他們一開口，人都恐懼顫抖。但他們卻祭拜巴力，自招滅亡。如今他們作惡日甚，憑藉自己的聰明用銀子鑄造神像，但這不過是匠人之作。人們議論他們說：「那些獻祭的人竟親吻牛犢偶像！」

我必毀滅人類、獸類、天上的鳥和海裡的魚。我必使惡人倒斃，我必剷除地上的人類。這是耶和華說的。

以色列人啊，你們曾經嚴重地悖逆耶和華，現在歸向祂吧！到那日，你們都要拋棄自己用罪惡雙手製造的金銀偶像。

你們必因在橡樹下，在你們選擇的園子裡祭拜偶像而蒙羞。

他們無人思想，無人明白，無人醒悟說：「我用一半木頭當柴烤餅、烤肉吃，我豈能用另一半木頭造可憎的神像？我豈能向一塊木頭叩拜？」他們以灰為食，心智迷糊，走入歧途，不能自救，也不會說：「我右手拿的神像不是假的嗎？」

眾人在他面前拆毀巴力的祭壇，他砍掉高高的香壇，又把亞舍拉神像及雕刻和鑄造的偶像磨成粉末，撒在祭拜它們之人的墳墓上，

他們擁立君王，未經我的同意；選立首領，沒有讓我知道。他們用金銀為自己製造神像，自取滅亡。我鄙棄撒瑪利亞人所拜的牛犢，我要向他們發怒，他們到什麼時候才能潔身自守呢？這牛犢是以色列的工匠造的，並不是神，必被砸得粉碎。

「以法蓮啊，你要遠離偶像。我應允你的禱告，看顧你。我像一棵青翠的松樹，你的果實都來自於我。」

約西亞還在瑪拿西、以法蓮、西緬，遠至拿弗他利的各城邑及其周圍的荒廢之地做了同樣的事情。他拆毀祭壇和亞舍拉神像，把偶像磨成粉末，砍掉以色列境內所有的香壇，然後回到耶路撒冷。

我要在你們身上灑清水潔淨你們，洗淨你們所有的污穢，除掉你們心中一切的偶像。
