是夕耶和華之使出、在亞述營擊其士卒、十八萬五千、詰朝惟見尸骸而已。

耶和華怒爾、若手執爵以飲爾、使爾過酣、露爾下體、至於哇吐、變榮為辱、昔爾強奪利巴嫩之木、殺人強據、害諸邑民、故必遘禍、若獸被執不勝觳觫、

亞述人至亞葉、經密倫、於密抹駐其輜重、已濟厥河、宿於基巴、拉馬之民無不震慴、掃羅之其庇亞人、靡不遁逃。伽林之女、揚聲而呼、使拉億人聞之、亞拿突人其有禍乎、末米拿之民、咸避匿矣、基品之眾、皆奔潰矣、一日者、敵居於諾、舉手而指、欲攻郇邑之山、耶路撒冷岡巒、

以色列族仍成聖之民、以奉事我、若土產之初實、我頒斯詔、凡吞噬斯民、獲罪於我者、必遭災害。

曰、希西家云、今日我遘患難、有譴責我、欺蔑我者、若婦當產而無力、

故我以色列族之上帝、萬有之主耶和華、指己而誓、摩押必若所多馬、亞捫必若蛾摩拉、荊棘叢生、斥鹵遍地、恆必荒蕪、我之遺民、必虜其貨財、得其基業、昔彼驕泰、自高其心、辱萬有之主耶和華民、故罹此鞠凶、

全能之上帝、施報於惡人者若此。

蓋耶和華必伸其冤、使虐之者反取其戾。

願耶和華諸敵如此危亡、願愛爾者愈顯其榮、如日方升。○嗣是以後其地悉平、歷四十年。

人不虐爾、而爾虐人、人不誣爾、而爾誣人、禍將及矣、爾以誣虐施諸人、則人待爾亦若是、

毋庸拾薪於田、伐木於林、惟燒器械、昔則見攘於人、今則攘人、昔則見擄於人、今則擄人、我耶和華已言之矣。

曾幾何時、其人已非、不得其所兮。
