啟明之晨星歟、何自天而隕乎、屈抑列邦者歟、何見斫於地乎、

爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、

“ King of Babylon, you thought you were the bright morning star. But now you have fallen from heaven! You once brought down nations. But now you have been thrown down to the earth!

你在伊甸－上帝的園中，佩戴各樣寶石，就是紅寶石、紅璧璽、金剛石、水蒼玉、紅瑪瑙、碧玉、藍寶石、綠寶石、紅玉；你的寶石有黃金的底座，手工精巧，都是在你受造之日預備的。我指定你為受膏的基路伯，看守保護；你在上帝的聖山上；往來在如火的寶石中。你從受造之日起行為正直，直到後來查出你的不義。你因貿易發達，暴力充斥其中，以致犯罪，所以我污辱你，使你離開上帝的山。守護者基路伯啊，我已將你從如火的寶石中殲滅。你因美麗心中高傲，因榮光而敗壞智慧，我已將你拋棄在地，把你擺在君王面前，好叫他們目睹眼見。

耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒但從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。

天上萬象都要朽壞，天被捲起，有如書卷，其上的萬象盡都衰殘；如葡萄樹的葉子凋落，又如無花果樹枯萎一樣。

我們有先知更確實的信息，你們要好好地留意這信息，如同留意照耀在暗處的明燈，直等到天亮，晨星在你們心裏升起的時候。

「我－耶穌差遣我的使者，為了眾教會向你們證明這些事。我是大衛的根，是他的後裔；我是明亮的晨星。」

天上發生了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍作戰，龍同牠的使者也起來應戰，牠們都打敗了，天上再也沒有牠們的地方。大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的；牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。我聽見在天上有大聲音說：「我上帝的救恩、能力、國度，和他所立的基督的權柄現在都來到了。因為那個在我們上帝面前、晝夜控告我們弟兄的，已經被摔下去了。

第三位天使吹號，就有燒着的大星好像火把從天上墜下來，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。

像我也從我父領受了權柄一樣。我又要把晨星賜給他。

天上的星宿都不發光，太陽一升起就變黑暗，月亮也不放光。

你必唱這詩歌嘲諷巴比倫王說：「欺壓人的竟然滅亡！他的兇暴竟然止息！耶和華折斷惡人的杖，打斷統治者的權杖；他們在憤怒中連連攻擊萬民，在怒氣中轄制列國，逼迫他們，毫不留情。

第五位天使吹號，我就看見一顆星從天上墜落到地上；有無底坑的鑰匙賜給它。

全地的大錘竟然砍斷破壞！巴比倫在列國中竟然荒涼！

你是我爭戰的斧子和打仗的兵器。我要用你打碎列邦，毀滅列國；用你打碎馬和騎馬的，打碎戰車和坐在其上的；用你打碎男人和女人，打碎老人和少年，打碎壯丁和少女；用你打碎牧人和他的羊羣，打碎農夫和他的一對耕牛，打碎省長和官員。我必在你們眼前報復巴比倫人和迦勒底居民在錫安所做的一切惡事。這是耶和華說的。

既然上帝沒有寬容犯了罪的天使，反而把他們丟在地獄裏，囚禁在幽暗中等候審判；
