啟明之晨星歟、何自天而隕乎、屈抑列邦者歟、何見斫於地乎、

爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、

How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

“ King of Babylon, you thought you were the bright morning star. But now you have fallen from heaven! You once brought down nations. But now you have been thrown down to the earth!

“ How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!

你曾在伊甸神的園中，佩戴各樣寶石，就是紅寶石、紅璧璽、金鋼石、水蒼玉、紅瑪瑙、碧玉、藍寶石、綠寶石、紅玉，和黃金；又有精美的鼓笛在你那裏，都是在你受造之日預備齊全的。你是那受膏遮掩約櫃的基路伯；我將你安置在神的聖山上；你在發光如火的寶石中間往來。你從受造之日所行的都完全，後來在你中間又察出不義。因你貿易很多，就被強暴的事充滿，以致犯罪，所以我因你褻瀆聖地，就從神的山驅逐你。遮掩約櫃的基路伯啊，我已將你從發光如火的寶石中除滅。你因美麗心中高傲，又因榮光敗壞智慧，我已將你摔倒在地，使你倒在君王面前，好叫他們目睹眼見。

耶穌對他們說：「我曾看見撒但從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。

天上的萬象都要消沒；天被捲起，好像書卷。其上的萬象要殘敗，像葡萄樹的葉子殘敗，又像無花果樹的葉子殘敗一樣。

我們並有先知更確的預言，如同燈照在暗處。你們在這預言上留意，直等到天發亮，晨星在你們心裏出現的時候，才是好的。

「我－耶穌差遣我的使者為眾教會將這些事向你們證明。我是大衛的根，又是他的後裔。我是明亮的晨星。」

在天上就有了爭戰。米迦勒同他的使者與龍爭戰，龍也同牠的使者去爭戰，並沒有得勝，天上再沒有牠們的地方。大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。我聽見在天上有大聲音說：「我神的救恩、能力、國度，並他基督的權柄，現在都來到了！因為那在我們神面前晝夜控告我們弟兄的，已經被摔下去了。

第三位天使吹號，就有燒着的大星，好像火把從天上落下來，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。

我又要把晨星賜給他。

天上的眾星羣宿都不發光；日頭一出就變黑暗；月亮也不放光。

你必題這詩歌論巴比倫王說：欺壓人的何竟熄滅？強暴的何竟止息？耶和華折斷了惡人的杖，轄制人的圭，就是在忿怒中連連攻擊眾民的，在怒氣中轄制列國，行逼迫無人阻止的。

第五位天使吹號，我就看見一個星從天落到地上，有無底坑的鑰匙賜給它。

全地的大錘何竟砍斷破壞？巴比倫在列國中何竟荒涼？

你是我爭戰的斧子和打仗的兵器；我要用你打碎列國，用你毀滅列邦；用你打碎馬和騎馬的；用你打碎戰車和坐在其上的；用你打碎男人和女人；用你打碎老年人和少年人；用你打碎壯丁和處女；用你打碎牧人和他的羣畜；用你打碎農夫和他一對牛；用你打碎省長和副省長。耶和華說：「我必在你們眼前報復巴比倫人和迦勒底居民在錫安所行的諸惡。」

就是天使犯了罪，神也沒有寬容，曾把他們丟在地獄，交在黑暗坑中，等候審判。
