「明亮的晨星，黎明之子啊，你怎麼會從天墜落呢？你這擊敗列國的，怎麼會被砍倒在地呢？

啟明之晨星歟、何自天而隕乎、屈抑列邦者歟、何見斫於地乎、

爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、

你曾在伊甸神的园中，佩戴各样宝石，就是红宝石、红璧玺、金钢石、水苍玉、红玛瑙、碧玉、蓝宝石、绿宝石、红玉，和黄金；又有精美的鼓笛在你那里，都是在你受造之日预备齐全的。你是那受膏遮掩约柜的基路伯；我将你安置在神的圣山上；你在发光如火的宝石中间往来。你从受造之日所行的都完全，后来在你中间又察出不义。因你贸易很多，就被强暴的事充满，以致犯罪，所以我因你亵渎圣地，就从神的山驱逐你。遮掩约柜的基路伯啊，我已将你从发光如火的宝石中除灭。你因美丽心中高傲，又因荣光败坏智慧，我已将你摔倒在地，使你倒在君王面前，好叫他们目睹眼见。

耶稣对他们说：“我曾看见撒但从天上坠落，像闪电一样。

天上的万象都要消没；天被卷起，好像书卷。其上的万象要残败，像葡萄树的叶子残败，又像无花果树的叶子残败一样。

我们并有先知更确的预言，如同灯照在暗处。你们在这预言上留意，直等到天发亮，晨星在你们心里出现的时候，才是好的。

“我耶稣差遣我的使者为众教会将这些事向你们证明。我是大卫的根，又是他的后裔。我是明亮的晨星。”

在天上就有了争战。米迦勒同他的使者与龙争战，龙也同它的使者去争战，并没有得胜，天上再没有它们的地方。大龙就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。它被摔在地上，它的使者也一同被摔下去。我听见在天上有大声音说：“我神的救恩、能力、国度，并他基督的权柄，现在都来到了！因为那在我们神面前昼夜控告我们弟兄的，已经被摔下去了。

第三位天使吹号，就有烧着的大星，好像火把从天上落下来，落在江河的三分之一和众水的泉源上。

我又要把晨星赐给他。

天上的众星群宿都不发光；日头一出就变黑暗；月亮也不放光。

你必题这诗歌论巴比伦王说：“欺压人的何竟息灭？强暴的何竟止息？耶和华折断了恶人的杖，辖制人的圭，就是在忿怒中连连攻击众民的，在怒气中辖制列国，行逼迫无人阻止的。

第五位天使吹号，我就看见一个星从天落到地上，有无底坑的钥匙赐给它。

全地的大锤何竟砍断破坏？巴比伦在列国中何竟荒凉？

“你是我争战的斧子和打仗的兵器；我要用你打碎列国，用你毁灭列邦；用你打碎马和骑马的；用你打碎战车和坐在其上的；用你打碎男人和女人；用你打碎老年人和少年人；用你打碎壮丁和处女；用你打碎牧人和他的群畜；用你打碎农夫和他一对牛；用你打碎省长和副省长。”耶和华说：“我必在你们眼前报复巴比伦人和迦勒底居民在锡安所行的诸恶。”

就是天使犯了罪，神也没有宽容，曾把他们丢在地狱，交在黑暗坑中，等候审判。
