我必因邪惡懲罰世界，因罪孽懲罰惡人，我要止息驕傲人的狂妄，制伏殘暴者的傲慢。

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

So I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; I will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.

伯沙撒啊，你是他的兒子，你雖知道這一切，卻不謙卑自己，竟向天上的主自高，差人將他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、王后、妃嬪用這器皿飲酒。你又讚美那不能看、不能聽、無知無識，用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石造的神明，沒有將榮耀歸與那手中掌管你氣息，管理你一切行動的上帝。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降卑，狂妄的人必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。

人的驕傲必屈膝，人的狂妄必降卑；在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇，

人為之屈膝，人就降為卑；高傲的眼目也降為卑。

因為，看哪，耶和華從他的居所出來，要懲罰地上居民的罪孽。地必露出其中的血，不再掩蓋被殺的人。

為了祖先的罪孽，要預備他子孫的屠宰場，免得他們興起，奪得全地，使城市遍滿地面。」

惡人有禍了！他必遭災難！因為他要按自己手所做的受報應。

大地悲哀凋零，世界敗落衰殘，地上居高位的人也沒落了。地被其上的居民所污穢，因為他們犯了律法，廢了律例，背了永約。所以，詛咒吞滅大地，住在其上的都有罪；地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅我，壓碎我，使我成為空器皿。他如大魚將我吞下，以我的美物充滿他的肚腹，又把我趕出去。錫安的居民要說：願我和我骨肉之親所受的殘暴歸給巴比倫。耶路撒冷人要說：願我們所流的血歸給迦勒底的居民。所以，耶和華如此說：看哪，我必為你伸冤，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的海枯竭，使它的泉源乾涸。巴比倫必成為廢墟，為野狗的住處，令人驚駭、嗤笑，並且無人居住。他們要像少壯獅子一同咆哮，像小獅子吼叫。

卻要以公義審判貧寒人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人，以口中的棍擊打全地，以嘴裏的氣殺戮惡人。

「明亮之星，早晨之子啊，你竟然從天墜落！你這攻敗列國的，竟然被砍倒在地上！你心裏曾說：『我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座在上帝的眾星之上，我要坐在會眾聚集的山上，在極北的地方。我要升到高雲之上，我要與至高者同等。』然而，你必墜落陰間，到地府極深之處。凡看見你的都要定睛望你，留意看你，說：『就是這個人嗎？他使大地顫抖，使列國震動，

你們要招集一切弓箭手來攻擊巴比倫，在巴比倫四圍安營，不容一人逃脫。要照着它所做的報應它；它怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待它，因為它向耶和華－以色列的聖者狂傲。所以它的壯丁必仆倒在街上。當那日，它的士兵全都必靜默無聲。這是耶和華說的。「看哪，你這狂傲的啊，我與你為敵，因為你的日子，我懲罰你的時刻已經來到。這是萬軍之主耶和華說的。狂傲的必絆跌仆倒，無人扶起。我必用火點燃他的城鎮，將他四圍所有的盡行燒滅。」

他以強而有力的聲音喊着說：「傾覆了！大巴比倫傾覆了！她成了鬼魔的住處，各樣污穢之靈的巢穴，各樣污穢之鳥的窩，各樣污穢可憎之獸的出沒處。因為列國都喝了她淫亂大怒的酒；地上的君王和她行淫；地上的商人因她極度奢華而發了財。」

大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的；牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。我聽見在天上有大聲音說：「我上帝的救恩、能力、國度，和他所立的基督的權柄現在都來到了。因為那個在我們上帝面前、晝夜控告我們弟兄的，已經被摔下去了。
