我必懲罰這罪惡的世界，懲治邪惡的世人，制止驕橫之人的狂妄，壓下殘暴之徒的驕傲。

我必因邪恶刑罚世界，因罪孽刑罚恶人，使骄傲人的狂妄止息，制伏强暴人的狂傲。

我必因邪恶惩罚世界，因罪孽惩罚恶人，我要止息骄傲人的狂妄，制伏残暴者的傲慢。

天下億兆、咎戾滋多、主必罰之、高者降之為卑、強者汰其驕心、

我必因世之惡罰世、懲惡人之罪愆、息滅驕奢者之威勢、制伏強暴者之傲氣、

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

So I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; I will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.

「伯沙撒啊，你是他的後裔，你雖然知道這一切事，仍不謙卑，竟在天上的主面前自大，命人拿來祂殿裡的器皿，供你和大臣、王后、妃嬪用來飲酒，並頌讚不能看、不能聽、一無所知、用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所造的神明，卻不尊崇賜你生命氣息、掌管你一舉一動的上帝。

到那日，狂妄的人將被挫敗，驕傲的人將遭貶抑；唯獨耶和華將受尊崇。

世人遭貶，降為卑下，狂妄者眼目低垂。

看啊，耶和華要走出祂的居所，懲罰世上犯罪的人。大地必不再隱藏被殺之人的屍首，必將所流的血顯露出來。

預備殺戮他的子孫吧，因為他們的祖先罪惡深重，免得他們興起統治世界、到處建造城邑。」

惡人有禍了！他們必大禍臨頭，受到報應。

大地必衰殘枯乾，世界必衰敗荒涼，世上的權貴也必敗落。大地被世人玷污，他們違犯律法，不守律例，背棄永遠的約。所以大地必遭受咒詛，世人必因罪而受懲罰。他們必被焚燒，所剩無幾。

以色列人說：「巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞噬我們、擊垮我們，把我們洗劫一空。他像海怪一樣吞吃我們，飽餐我們的美物，然後把我們趕走。」錫安的居民說：「巴比倫人殘暴地對待我們，願他們受報應。」耶路撒冷人說：「願迦勒底人償還我們的血債。」耶和華說：「我的子民啊，我要為你們伸冤，替你們報仇；我要使巴比倫的江河枯竭，泉源乾涸。巴比倫必淪為廢墟，杳無人跡，淪為豺狼出沒的地方，令人驚懼、嗤笑。迦勒底人像群獅一樣怒吼，又像幼獅一樣咆哮。

而是按公義審判貧窮人，以公正為受苦者斷案。他必用口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺戮惡人。

「明亮的晨星、黎明之子啊，你怎麼從天上墜落下來？你這打敗列國的怎麼被砍倒在地上？你曾想，『我要升到天上，把自己的寶座設在上帝的眾星之上；我要坐在遙遠的北方眾神明聚會的山上；我要升到雲天之上，使自己與至高者一樣。』可是，你必墜入陰間，掉進死亡的深坑。看見你的都瞪大眼睛盯著你，都在想，『這就是那曾使大地震動、列國顫抖的人嗎？

「要召集所有的弓箭手來攻打巴比倫，在她四圍紮營，不讓一人漏網。要照她的所作所為報應她；她怎樣對待別人，也要怎樣對待她，因為她藐視耶和華——以色列的聖者。她的青年要倒斃街頭，那時她所有的戰士都要滅亡」。這是耶和華說的。「主——萬軍之耶和華說，『狂傲的人啊，我要與你為敵，我懲罰你的時候到了。狂傲的人要踉踉蹌蹌，跌倒在地，無人扶起。我要焚燒她的城邑，使她周圍的一切化為灰燼。』」

他用強有力的聲音喊著說：「巴比倫大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她成了鬼魔的住處、各樣污鬼的監獄和一切可憎的不潔鳥獸的牢籠！因為列國都被她荒淫的烈酒灌醉了。地上的君王曾經與她通姦，地上的商人也因她窮奢極侈的生活而發了財。」

牠和牠的天使都一同從天上被摔到地上。巨龍就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人類的。我聽見天上有大響聲說：「我們上帝的救贖、權能、國度和祂所立的基督的權柄現在來臨了。因為那晝夜不停地在我們上帝面前控告我們弟兄的，已經被摔到地上了。
