我必惩罚这罪恶的世界，惩治邪恶的世人，制止骄横之人的狂妄，压下残暴之徒的骄傲。

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

The Lord will punish the world because it is so evil. He will punish evil people for their sins. He’ll put an end to the bragging of those who are proud. He’ll bring down the pride of those who don’t show any pity.

I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.

“ I, the Lord, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the mighty.

I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their iniquities. I will put an end to the pride of the arrogant and humiliate the insolence of tyrants.

So I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; I will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.

“伯沙撒啊，你是他的后裔，你虽然知道这一切事，仍不谦卑，竟在天上的主面前自大，命人拿来祂殿里的器皿，供你和大臣、王后、妃嫔用来饮酒，并颂赞不能看、不能听、一无所知、用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神明，却不尊崇赐你生命气息、掌管你一举一动的上帝。

到那日，狂妄的人将被挫败，骄傲的人将遭贬抑；唯独耶和华将受尊崇。

世人遭贬，降为卑下，狂妄者眼目低垂。

看啊，耶和华要走出祂的居所，惩罚世上犯罪的人。大地必不再隐藏被杀之人的尸首，必将所流的血显露出来。

预备杀戮他的子孙吧，因为他们的祖先罪恶深重，免得他们兴起统治世界、到处建造城邑。”

恶人有祸了！他们必大祸临头，受到报应。

大地必衰残枯干，世界必衰败荒凉，世上的权贵也必败落。大地被世人玷污，他们违犯律法，不守律例，背弃永远的约。所以大地必遭受咒诅，世人必因罪而受惩罚。他们必被焚烧，所剩无几。

以色列人说：“巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒吞噬我们、击垮我们，把我们洗劫一空。他像海怪一样吞吃我们，饱餐我们的美物，然后把我们赶走。”锡安的居民说：“巴比伦人残暴地对待我们，愿他们受报应。”耶路撒冷人说：“愿迦勒底人偿还我们的血债。”耶和华说：“我的子民啊，我要为你们申冤，替你们报仇；我要使巴比伦的江河枯竭，泉源干涸。巴比伦必沦为废墟，杳无人迹，沦为豺狼出没的地方，令人惊惧、嗤笑。迦勒底人像群狮一样怒吼，又像幼狮一样咆哮。

而是按公义审判贫穷人，以公正为受苦者断案。他必用口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

“明亮的晨星、黎明之子啊，你怎么从天上坠落下来？你这打败列国的怎么被砍倒在地上？你曾想，‘我要升到天上，把自己的宝座设在上帝的众星之上；我要坐在遥远的北方众神明聚会的山上；我要升到云天之上，使自己与至高者一样。’可是，你必坠入阴间，掉进死亡的深坑。看见你的都瞪大眼睛盯着你，都在想，‘这就是那曾使大地震动、列国颤抖的人吗？

“要召集所有的弓箭手来攻打巴比伦，在她四围扎营，不让一人漏网。要照她的所作所为报应她；她怎样对待别人，也要怎样对待她，因为她藐视耶和华——以色列的圣者。她的青年要倒毙街头，那时她所有的战士都要灭亡。”这是耶和华说的。“主——万军之耶和华说，‘狂傲的人啊，我要与你为敌，我惩罚你的时候到了。狂傲的人要踉踉跄跄，跌倒在地，无人扶起。我要焚烧她的城邑，使她周围的一切化为灰烬。’”

他用强有力的声音喊着说：“巴比伦大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她成了鬼魔的住处、各样污鬼的监狱和一切可憎的不洁鸟兽的牢笼！因为列国都被她荒淫的烈酒灌醉了。地上的君王曾经与她通奸，地上的商人也因她穷奢极侈的生活而发了财。”

它和它的天使都一同从天上被摔到地上。巨龙就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人类的。我听见天上有大响声说：“我们上帝的救赎、权能、国度和祂所立的基督的权柄现在来临了。因为那昼夜不停地在我们上帝面前控告我们弟兄的，已经被摔到地上了。
