在曠野有聲音呼喊着說：『要豫備永恆主的道路，要在原野修平我們的上帝的大路。一切山窪都要填高，大山小山都要削低，高高低低的要改為平坦，崎崎嶇嶇的要修成為平原。

當那日子、主必再舉手，擁有他自己的餘民，就是從亞述、從埃及、從巴忒羅、從古實、從以攔、從示拿和哈馬、以及海邊的沿岸各地、所剩下來的。

從巴比倫出來哦！從迦勒底人之中逃出哦！用歡呼的聲音宣告，將這事說給人聽哦！傳出到地之儘邊，說：『永恆主贖回了他僕人雅各了。』永恆主領了他們走過荒漠之野，他們並不乾渴；他叫水從磐石裏流出來給他們喝；他叫磐石裂開，水就湧出。

那使他榮美的膀臂在摩西的右手邊行動、在他們面前將水分開、使他們走過深洋、來為他自己立個永遠之名的、在哪裏呢？像馬在曠野裏，他們未曾絆跌；

那使海乾旱，使大深淵的水乾涸，使海的深處變為受贖回之民經過之路的、不是你麼？
