The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.

The Lord will dry up the Red Sea in Egypt. By his power he’ll send a burning wind to sweep over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into many streams. Then people will be able to go across it wearing sandals.

And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals.

The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

我來的時候、為甚麼沒有人等候呢？我呼喚時、為甚麼沒有人回答呢？難道我手臂太短、不能贖救麼？或是說：我沒有援救之力麼？看哪，我以叱責使海乾涸；我使江河變為曠野；其中的魚因無水而發臭，乾渴而死。

當那日子、埃及人必像婦人一樣；他們必因萬軍之永恆主的掄手、就是他在埃及身上所掄的、來發顫懼怕。

他們必經過埃及海；海中波浪必被擊打，尼羅河深處都必乾涸。亞述的狂傲必被抑制，埃及權柄之杖也必消逝。

第六位把他那一碗倒在幼發拉底大河上；河水就乾了，讓那些東方的列王之道路得以豫備出來。

當那日子、主必用大河那邊賃來的剃刀——就是亞述王——剃光你們的頭髮和陰毛，並刮淨你們的鬍鬚。

我必使江河乾涸，將這地交付於壞人手中；我必藉着外族人的手使這地和其中所有的都變為淒涼：這是我永恆主說的。

永恆主的膀臂啊，奮發，奮發哦！穿上力量為服裝哦！奮發像古時的日子，像往古之年代哦！從前擊傷了拉哈龍，刺透了大海獸的、不是你麼？那使海乾旱，使大深淵的水乾涸，使海的深處變為受贖回之民經過之路的、不是你麼？

那麼你就看吧，我跟你為敵，跟你的河為敵；我必使埃及地、從密奪到色弗尼、直到古實邊界、全然荒廢淒涼。

永恆主對摩西說：『你要對亞倫說：「拿你的杖，伸手在埃及所有的水以上，在他們的江、河、池塘以上，以及一切積水之地以上，叫水都變為血，以致在埃及全地，無論在木器中、在石器中、都有了血。」』摩西、亞倫就照永恆主所吩咐的去行：在法老和法老的臣僕眼前，亞倫舉起手杖，擊打河裏的水，河裏的水就都變為血。河裏的魚死了，河也發臭，埃及人就不能喫這河裏的水了：埃及全地都有了血。

是你用能力將海分開，將水中大海獸的頭打破。是你砸碎了鱷魚的頭，把他給野狗羣做食物。是你使泉源和谿谷裂開，是你使長流不息的江河乾涸。

摩西向海伸手，永恆主便終夜用極強的東風使海退去；他使海成了旱地；水也裂開了。

江海中的水必乾透，江河必旱竭乾涸。江河支流必變臭，埃及尼羅河溝的水必降低，而旱竭；荻子和蘆葦都必枯爛。尼羅河旁的菖蒲都必枯萎；河邊所種的都必枯乾，被吹散，歸於無有。打魚的人必憂傷悲哀，垂釣於尼羅河中的必都悲傷，撒網於水面上的必衰萎無力。作麻活的必失望：梳麻的和織白布料的都必羞愧。社會的砥柱人物必被擊碎，所有受薪的工人心裏都很憂愁。
