The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.

The Lord will dry up the Red Sea in Egypt. By his power he’ll send a burning wind to sweep over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into many streams. Then people will be able to go across it wearing sandals.

And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals.

The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

為甚麼我來的時候，沒有人在呢？為甚麼我呼喚的時候，沒有人答應呢？難道我的手太軟弱不能救贖嗎？或是我沒有能力拯救嗎？看哪！我以斥責使海乾涸，我使江河變成曠野，江河的魚因無水發臭，因乾渴而死。

到那日，埃及人必像婦人一樣。他們必因萬軍之耶和華在埃及之上揮手而戰兢恐懼。

他必經過苦難的海，擊打海中的波浪，尼羅河的深處也都要乾涸；亞述的驕傲必降為卑；埃及的權勢要過去。

第六位天使把碗倒在幼發拉底大河上，河水就乾了，為了要給那些從東方來的王預備道路。

到那日，主必用大河那邊租來的剃刀，就是亞述王，剃去你們的頭髮和腳上的毛，並且剃淨你們的鬍鬚。

我必使江河乾涸，把這地賣給惡人；我必藉著外族人的手，使這地和其中所充滿的，都變成荒涼。我耶和華已經說了。

耶和華的膀臂啊，醒來吧！醒來吧！穿上能力吧！像古時的日子，像上古的世代一樣醒來吧！從前砍碎了拉哈伯，刺透了海龍的，不是你嗎？使海，就是大淵的水乾涸，使海的深處變為蒙救贖的人經過之路的，不是你嗎？

所以我必與你和你的河為敵；我必使埃及地，從密奪到色弗尼，直到古實邊界，都全然荒涼廢棄。

耶和華對摩西說：“你要對亞倫說：‘拿你的手杖來，把你的手伸在埃及的眾水之上，就是在他們的江、河、池和所有水塘之上，使水都變成血。因此，在埃及全地，連木器石器中都必有血。’”摩西和亞倫就這樣行了，就像耶和華所吩咐的；亞倫在法老面前和法老的臣僕面前舉起手杖，擊打河裡的水，河裡的水就都變了血。河裡的魚死了，河水發臭了，埃及人也不能喝這河裡的水了；在埃及，全地都有血。

你曾用你的大能分開大海，把海中怪獸的頭都打碎了。你砸碎了利未亞坦（“利未亞坦”為原文音譯詞，或譯：“海怪”〔伯3:8〕或“鱷魚”〔伯41:1〕）的頭，把牠給住在曠野的人作食物。你曾開闢泉源和溪流，又使長流不息的江河乾涸。

摩西向海伸手，耶和華就用極強的東風，一夜之間使海水退去；他使海變成乾地，海水也分開了。

海中的眾水必乾透，河床必枯竭乾涸。河道必發臭，埃及眾河流的水必消退乾涸；葦子和蘆荻都必枯萎。尼羅河旁、尼羅河口的草田，以及沿著尼羅河所種的田都必枯乾，被吹散，不再存在。打魚的人必哀號；所有在尼羅河上垂釣的必悲傷；那些在水面上撒網的，必灰心難過。那些用梳好的麻來紡紗的，和那些織白布的，都必羞愧。埃及的柱石必被打碎，所有受雇的工人也必心裡憂愁。
