戰爭之時、必若英豪、蹂躪敵人、若街衢之泥土、戰爭必蒙主祐、必使乘馬者抱愧、

以色列妹悖逆之猶大、行此事後、仍不誠心歸我、佯為歸我、此乃主所言、

蓋斯為悖逆之民、誑言之子、不願聽主法之子、彼告先見曰、勿言未來之事、對得默示者曰、勿以正直為默示傳於我、當以柔媚之詞告我、以虛誕為默示傳於我、當離所行之道、舍所履之徑、勿於我前復題以色列聖主、

惟彼籲籲或作宣告我名者、我激之來自北方、自日出之鄉而至、以蹂躪侯伯、猶如泥土、如陶人之踐泥然、

主曰、我獨踐葡萄於壓酒處、萬民中無人偕我、我震怒以踐踏之、施威以蹂躪之、其血濺於我衣、污染我服、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、奉我遣率北方各族、來攻斯地與其居民、及四周之鄰國、必滅之殆盡、使其地永為荒涼、令人驚駭恥笑、此乃主所言、

彼曰、我移列國之界、擄掠其財、誠如有能者、誠如有能者或作我英勇超群使坐國位者卑降、我行此事、惟倚己臂之力、恃己之智慧、因我明哲、我手獲列國之貨財、如人取巢、我得全地、如人拾遺棄之卵、無一鼓翼者、啟口哀鳴者、

猶大地必使伊及人戰慄、若向伊及提論猶大之地、無不恐懼、此即萬有之主、為伊及人所定之謀、

偽善者乎、先知以賽亞預言指爾者誠是、其言云、

耶路撒冷歟、當洗心除惡、則可得救、爾衷懷妄念、將至何時、

我擣之細微如地之塵、踐之如衢市之泥、而又傾之、

震怒踐踏異邦人、施威使之沈醉、使其血流於地、○
