因着万军之耶和华的盛怒，地被焚毁，百姓必像烧火的燃料，没有人怜恤自己的兄弟。

因为他们是悖逆的子民，欺诈的儿女，是不肯听从耶和华训诲的儿女。他们对先见说：“不要看异象了！”对先知说：“不要向我们预言真确的事，要向我们说柔滑的话，预言虚幻的事！你们要离开这道，转离这路，不要在我们面前再提以色列的圣者了！”

耶和华紧拉着居鲁士的右手，让列国降服在他面前，使君王们的腰带松开；又让门在他面前敞开，使城门也不关闭——耶和华对所膏立的居鲁士如此说：“我必在你前面行，修平崎岖之地；我要打碎铜门，砍断铁闩。我要把暗处的宝物和隐秘处的宝藏赐给你，好让你知道：是我耶和华以色列的神提你的名召唤了你。为我仆人雅各、我所拣选的以色列的缘故，我提你的名召唤你；你虽然不认识我，我却给你一个尊名。我是耶和华，别无其二；除我以外没有神。你虽然不认识我，我却装备你；

我从北方兴起一人；他从日出之地而来，他必呼求我的名。他必把掌权者像泥土一样践踏，如同陶匠踹踏陶泥。

“我独自踹酒槽，万民中没有一人与我在一起。我在怒气中踹他们，在怒火中踩踏他们；他们的血水溅在我的衣服上，我把全身的衣服都染污了；

犹大地对埃及来说必成为恐惧——犹大地一被提起，任何人都会惧怕，因为这是万军之耶和华向埃及所策划的谋略。

你们这些伪善的人哪！以赛亚指着你们所说的预言是对的，他说：

我在怒气中践踏万民，在怒火中使他们醉了，又把他们的血水倒在地上。”
