不復有夜、無需燈光日光、蓋主上帝光耀之、且彼眾秉權、以至世世、○

維時、耶和華之使者出、在亞述營、擊其人十八萬五千、晨起視之、乃屍而已、

其磐石因驚惶而廢、其牧伯緣旌旆而懼、有火在錫安、有爐在耶路撒冷之耶和華言之矣、

萬軍之耶和華曰、其日將屆、火燃若爐、驕侈與作惡者、將如草芥、日至盡燬、致根與枝、靡有孑遺、惟爾寅畏我名者、義日將為爾出、其翼施醫、爾將出而踴躍、如牢中之犢、爾必蹂躪惡人、於我所定之日、彼若灰塵、在爾足下、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、○

邑不需日月之照、蓋上帝之榮燭之、其燈乃羔也、

煙自其鼻升、火從其口出、炭為所燃兮、

火自耶和華出、燬其焚香者二百五十人、○

山嶽因之震動、岡嶺銷鎔、大地世界與居其上者、墳起於其前、厥怒奮發、孰能屹立、孰能當其忿怒之烈、其怒傾洩如火、磐巖為之崩裂、
