Your rulers refuse to obey the Lord. They join forces with robbers. All of them love to accept money from those who want special favors. They are always looking for gifts from other people. They don’t stand up in court for children whose fathers have died. They don’t do it for widows either.

Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow’s cause does not come to them.

孤寡賓旅貧乏、俱勿虐遇、友朋之間、勿相謀害、

曰、邑有士師、不畏上帝、不禮世人、有嫠入見曰、有仇我者、請伸我冤、久而不許、後自思曰、我雖不畏上帝、不禮世人、但嫠再三瀆我、必伸其冤、免恆至聒我、

眾祭司長與兆民、效尤異邦、多蹈罪愆、在耶路撒冷、耶和華之殿、業已肅清、復污衊之、

惟爾縱心目之欲、貪婪不已、強據虐遇、而殺無辜。

立法嚴酷、載之典章、虐遇其民、其有禍乎。彼屈抑貧乏、不伸其冤、攘奪孤寡、而取其利。

遍詰民長牧伯、曰、爾毀我葡萄園、攘奪貧民、虜其貨財、藏於爾室、

耶和華曰、彼在吉甲、所作不端、為我深憾、因其惡行、牧伯違命、我將驅之於我室、不加眷顧。

曰、記有之、我室必稱為祈禱室、爾曹以為盜巢也、

以色列牧伯、居於爾中、竭力殺人、斯邑之人、藐視父母、凌侮旅人、強暴孤寡。藐視聖物、犯安息日。揚虛誕以殺人、食岡巒之祭品、行諸淫亂、烝父繼室、妻癸水至、與之同寢、淫人之妻、亂子婦、淫姊妹、受賄以殺人、取利追索、棄我耶和華。

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必涖臨、降災於爾、凡巫覡行淫之子、妄誓之輩、奪傭人之值、虐遇孤寡、使賓旅不得伸其枉屈、而不敬畏我者、必速降以罰。

體則肥胖、容有光華、作惡勝於尋常、孤貧被控不為折中。耶和華曰、有民若此、我豈不降罰、以雪我憤、

耶何耶大既沒、猶大諸伯、拜請於王前、王從之、遂棄列祖之上帝耶和華殿、奉事偶像、於是干上帝震怒、降災於猶大族。耶路撒冷民。上帝遣先知、訓迪民人、歸耶和華、弗聽、祭司耶何耶大子撒加利亞、感上帝之神、當眾前言曰、上帝云、爾違耶和華命曷故、爾必不亨通、爾棄耶和華、耶和華亦棄爾。民聽王命、謀害祭司、於耶和華殿院、石擊之。

明日、有司、長老、士子、集耶路撒冷、祭司長亞那、同該亞法、約翰、亞力山大、凡祭司長之族咸在、立使徒於前、詰曰、爾以何權何名行此耶、彼得感於聖神、曰、民之有司、以色列長老、我儕今日、以病人獲恩故、而問其何以得愈、則爾曹與以色列民、當知拿撒勒耶穌基督、爾釘之十字架、上帝所復生者、即以其名、使此人得愈、立於爾前、夫耶穌固爾工師所棄之石、已成屋隅首石者、是也、

與盜為侶、聽其盟誓、不以告人者、必自取戾。

長者聽訟、為納苞苴、祭司訓民、惟望賞賚、先知圖利、而言未來事、然眾恃耶和華自謂耶和華左右我、必不遘災、

我必詣世家、與之語、彼庶幾灼知上帝耶和華之道、惟彼折軛斷維、不受約束。

示人曰、記不云乎、我室必稱為諸民祈禱之室、爾曹以為盜巢也、

惟彼善人、言信而行義、不取非義之利、不受賄賂、耳不聞殺伐之聲、目不睹怪僻之事、

毋反其正、毋偏視人、毋受賄賂、蓋賂使明者暗、以直為曲、

我儕犯罪作惡、違爾律例、棄爾禮儀、爾臣僕諸先知、藉爾之名、告我王公祖父國民之語、我不聽從、

曰、記有之、我室為祈禱室、爾曹以為盜巢也、○

彼縱飲無度、恆作淫行、民牧所好、可醜之事、

彼行詭詐、違逆乎余、王公欣喜、眾人慾念大熾、如炊麵之器、為膳夫炙熱、麵團酵發、毋庸復炙。我王誕辰、百官飲酒逾量、遂至疾病、王喜與侮慢者為伍、

惡人納賄賂、誣直作曲。

我曰、雅各之長者、以色列族之士師、宜聽我言、聽訟之理、非爾所當知乎、惟爾惡善好惡、剝人之皮、刳人之肉、惟餘骨骸、爾去我民之皮、而噬其肉、折其骨割之為臠、投之鼎鑊、
