我抹掉你的過犯，如同抹掉厚雲；我抹掉你的罪惡，如同抹掉薄霧；回轉歸向我吧，因為我救贖了你！

你沒有用銀子為我買菖蒲，也沒有用祭物的脂油使我滿足，不過我卻因你的罪惡有重負，因你的罪孽而厭倦。「我，是我為自己的緣故，抹掉你的過犯，不會記念你的罪惡。你可以提醒我，讓我們一起爭訟！你儘管陳述，好自顯為義！

求你用牛膝草清潔我，我就潔淨；求你洗滌我，我就比雪更潔白。

我對他說：「我主啊，你是知道的。」他就對我說：「這些人都是從大患難中出來的。他們用羔羊的血洗淨了自己的袍子，使它們潔白了。

耶和華對假神說：「呈上你們的案件！」雅各的王說：「拿出你們的證據！」

眾海島啊，你們要在我面前沉默！萬民哪，你們要重新得力！近前來開口吧；讓我們聚在一起辯明公正！

每逢安息日，保羅就在會堂裡講論，勸導猶太人和希臘人。

歸於他恩典榮耀的稱讚，這恩典是他在愛子裡特別賜給我們的。在他裡面，我們藉著他的血，得蒙救贖、過犯得到赦免，都是出於神恩典的豐盛。神以一切的智慧和聰明，使這恩典豐豐富富地臨到我們，

保羅照習慣進了會堂，一連三個安息日，引用經文向他們講論，

律法出現，為要使過犯增多；可是，罪在哪裡增多，恩典就在哪裡格外增多。

所以，現在你們要站好，我要在耶和華面前與你們講論耶和華向你們和你們祖先所行的一切公義。

當保羅講論關於公義、自制和將來的審判時，菲利克斯感到害怕，就說：「你現在可以回去，我有了時間，就會叫你。」
