我除去了你的过犯和罪恶，使它们如云雾消散。归向我吧，因为我救赎了你。”

你并没有花钱买菖蒲献给我，也没有用祭物的脂肪满足我，反而使我因你的罪恶而受累，因你的过犯而烦扰。“我，是我为自己的缘故，除去你的过犯，忘掉你的罪恶。你可以提醒我，你我可以理论，你可以提出理由证明自己的清白。

求你用牛膝草洁净我的罪，使我干净；求你洗净我，使我比雪更白。

我回答说：“先生，你知道答案。”他便说：“这些都是经过大灾难的人，他们用羔羊的血将衣裳洗得纯净洁白。

耶和华对偶像说：“陈明你们的理由。”雅各的王说：“拿出你们的证据吧。”

上帝说：“众海岛啊，要在我面前安静！让众民重新拿出勇力，让他们前来说话，让我们一起来理论。

有何神明像你一样赦免罪恶，饶恕你幸存子民的过犯？你不会永远发怒，因为你乐于施恩。你必再怜悯我们，将我们的罪恶践踏在脚下，把我们的一切过犯抛进深海。

保罗每个安息日都到会堂与犹太人和希腊人辩论，劝导他们信主。

我们赞美祂奇妙无比的恩典，这恩典是上帝借着祂的爱子赐给我们的。我们借着祂爱子的血蒙救赎，过犯得到赦免，这都是出于祂的洪恩。上帝用各种智慧和聪明把这恩典丰丰富富地赐给我们，

保罗照以往的习惯进入会堂，一连三个安息日引用圣经与当地人讨论，

律法是后来颁布的，使过犯更多地显出来，只是哪里的罪越多，哪里的恩典就显得越丰富。

现在，你们都要站在耶和华面前，让我来提醒你们有关耶和华过去曾为你们和你们祖先所做的一切公义作为。

耶和华说：“你们的祖先在我身上找到什么过错，以致他们远离我，去追随虚妄的神明，使自己变得虚妄呢？

当保罗讲到公义、节制和将来的审判时，腓利斯十分恐惧，说：“你先下去吧，改天有机会，我再叫你来。”

群山啊，大地永固的根基啊，你们要听耶和华的控告！因为耶和华要控告祂的子民，责备以色列人。
