斯民遠往、以避災害、瘞其尸者、埃及人、葬其骨者、摩弗人、昔以金置田廬、藉以娛目、迄今草萊蔓延、荊棘叢生、

斯民逃避災害、伊及人殮其屍、摩弗人埋其骸、彼以銀得室可悅、或作彼用銀置購華室必長蒺藜、其幕中必生荊棘、

Even if they escape from destruction, Egypt will gather them, and Memphis will bury them. Their treasures of silver will be taken over by briers, and thorns will overrun their tents.

Some of you will escape without being destroyed. But you will die in Egypt. Your bodies will be buried at Memphis. Weeds will cover your treasures of silver. Thorns will grow up in your tents.

For behold, they are going away from destruction; but Egypt shall gather them; Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver; thorns shall be in their tents.

Even if you escape destruction from Assyria, Egypt will conquer you, and Memphis will bury you. Nettles will take over your treasures of silver; thistles will invade your ruined homes.

For even if they flee from devastation, Egypt will gather them, and Memphis will bury them. Thistles will take possession of their precious silver; thorns will invade their tents.

Look! Even if they flee from the destruction, Egypt will take hold of them, and Memphis will bury them. The weeds will inherit the silver they treasure– thorn bushes will occupy their homes.

For, behold, they have gone away from destruction. Egypt will gather them up. Memphis will bury them. Nettles will possess their pleasant things of silver. Thorns will be in their tents.

伯‧亞文的邱壇－就是以色列取罪的地方必被毀滅；荊棘和蒺藜必長在他們的祭壇上。他們必對大山說：遮蓋我們！對小山說：倒在我們身上！

我必使它荒廢，不再修理，不再鋤刨，荊棘蒺藜倒要生長。我也必命雲不降雨在其上。

他們必不得住耶和華的地；以法蓮卻要歸回埃及，必在亞述吃不潔淨的食物。

「從前，凡種一千棵葡萄樹、值銀一千舍客勒的地方，到那時必長荊棘和蒺藜。

至於獻給我的祭物，他們自食其肉，耶和華卻不悅納他們。現在必記念他們的罪孽，追討他們的罪惡；他們必歸回埃及。

他們歸向，卻不歸向至上者；他們如同翻背的弓。他們的首領必因舌頭的狂傲倒在刀下；這在埃及地必作人的譏笑。

荊棘蒺藜必長在我百姓的地上，又長在歡樂的城中和一切快樂的房屋上。

他們因離棄我，必定有禍；因違背我，必被毀滅。我雖要救贖他們，他們卻向我說謊。

他們必如雀鳥從埃及急速而來，又如鴿子從亞述地來到。我必使他們住自己的房屋。這是耶和華說的。

以色列人哪，到那日，耶和華必從大河，直到埃及小河，將你們一一地收集，如同人打樹拾果一樣。

使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。

我必再領他們出埃及地，招聚他們出亞述，領他們到基列和黎巴嫩；這地尚且不夠他們居住。耶和華必經過苦海，擊打海浪，使尼羅河的深處都枯乾。亞述的驕傲必致卑微；埃及的權柄必然滅沒。

荊棘長滿了地皮，刺草遮蓋了田面，石牆也坍塌了。

先前耶和華怎樣喜悅善待你們，使你們眾多，也要照樣喜悅毀滅你們，使你們滅亡；並且你們從所要進去得的地上必被拔除。耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中，從地這邊到地那邊，你必在那裏事奉你和你列祖素不認識、木頭石頭的神。

以東的宮殿要長荊棘；保障要長蒺藜和刺草；要作野狗的住處，鴕鳥的居所。

亞蘭王滅絕約哈斯的民，踐踏他們如禾場上的塵沙，只給約哈斯留下五十馬兵，十輛戰車，一萬步兵。

以色列百姓見自己危急窘迫，就藏在山洞、叢林、石穴、隱密處，和坑中。

瑣安的首領都變為愚昧；挪弗的首領都受了迷惑。當埃及支派房角石的，使埃及人走錯了路。

當那日，主必二次伸手救回自己百姓中所餘剩的，就是在亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬，並眾海島所剩下的。
